As long as you seal it so it doesn't get discolored over time, you can paint it any color you want and change it on Sundays 😂😂. That's just gorgeous. What a big bang for the buck!
Paint it. You can always repaint it later on if the color isn’t right. Unless you don’t want to do a lot of painting. Or if you are wondering if the color is right in the area it’s in. You could paint something else and hang it in the area to see if it works too.

Its beautiful but I really think a tan, golden yellow, or brown based pink will really help make those plants stand out & make the space feel more cohesive!

White. But das clay needs to be sealed/ varnished. It is porous and will fall apart if it gets damp

I think tan would accentuate the texture of the clay and contract nicely against the white wall

Tan would make a nice contrast….depending on your colour scheme even a sky blue or lighter would look really nice.
