    It feels tempting to buy all items at Scrooge's store every day, but hey. It also feels kinda satisfying, not gonna lie. What I really hope for is I can sell furnitures. That way, when I buy an excessive amount of a certain item, I can just sell them, like I do at Goofy's stall. Wonder if Uncle Scrooge really appreciates money so much, he doesn't like the idea of "Money Back Guarantee"

      @TheWrongGlasses:you can give furniture and other repeat items to villagers as a random gift though in order to get rid of it. The game does give you a way to get rid of stuff without selling it. Plus sometimes you need back up furnitures but you can also get rid of what you don’t need furniture wise by giving it to a villager. Scrooge most likely wouldn’t give us money back anyway but on the plus side the game does let us give furniture to other villagers like Moana-Maui.

    I wish they would be consistent with the boundary boxes (how many floor tiles an item takes up) With trees it makes me crazy, the boundary boxes are way bigger than the trunks, except for one tree, where it's one box, so you can stick it anywhere. They should let players decide if they're ok with item clipping or not and just let us smoosh stuff close together. I hate that I can't snuggly fit hedges together, they have a pointless gap forced between them

    I thought the same about the seeds from night thorns until I read the comments. We forget that a lot of the new/lower level players rely on night thorns to get seeds before they have funds to go buy seeds and some don't have all the biomes/goofy stalls unlocked.

    • @Megz1794
      @Megz1794 Před rokem +1

      @jenmostly8142:that’s because some people aren’t playing the game to it’s fullest potential Since they don’t have hours to sit and play the game and it takes a long time to get enough Dreamlight or more to open all the biomes,hours to do all the goofy stalls in all the biomes especially getting all the stalls to levels 2 and levels 3 of the stalls.plus pumpkins sell for a lot themselves but they are in the forgotten lands which takes a long time to get access to the forgotten lands and to fix up that Goofy stall the only cheap crop to plant and harvest a lot of and to sell alot of it is the carrots,wheat or lettuce ones from the meadow. Espeically the carrots.plus if someone is playing for hours because they can’t play for hours on end it’s gonna take them like years to get as far as the loyal players of the game.

      @Megz1794 Před rokem

      @jindrichpluhar9846:not really since you need space outside to put homes,to walk,decorate,for stuff to spawn in the biomes…etc… at least inside you can split up the chests a bit more between storage room floors and rooms. While still leaving space to walk and open up chests outside in the biomes isn’t big enough in certain areas to do alot of storage chests. Since you need to be Able to access hitting rocks,harvesting stuff,walking,picking up stuff that spawns,room for stuff to spawn,room for houses to placed…etc… at least in door storage rooms people can be more organized separate areas for certain chests one floor or more than one floor if players want to. Outside you have to worry about deleting\taking out items a lot more than you would indoors. Outdoors you need to keep room for other stuff like homes,being able to walk….etc… indoors you can least make it look like a laundry room themed area of a house with storage areas if you want to. Indoor storages is more smarter in a way since it gives people a reason to use another floor if they aren’t decorating that room with beds,tables…etc…

    • @Megz1794
      @Megz1794 Před rokem

      @jindrichpluhar9846:indoors you can have more separate areas for a lot of stuff since you can do 20 floors with like 4 rooms each so indoors is more organized for where to put items. The floor sizes just need to be bigger past 10 by 10 outdoors storages just take up space that could be used for something else that’s meant to go outside plus people eventually run out of room outside with the more storages that they add outside. You lose spawning space for items for quests,walking space,house space,being able to access rocks..etc… in doors the storage chests don’t get in the way.

Plus some people run to their houses to refill up their energy bar and if they have full pockets storage areas in the house make it easier to drop everything off while you are inside of your house as well. I kinda disagree that dev cannot make players (all) happy because that is not the point. The point here is why does some other games (which many of us love to play and is called our best-all-time-game) studio able to do it while Disney Dreamlight Valley cannot? THAT is the point. If other game studio can make their player base happy and you cannot, it is your studio problem. Not the players' problem. The only players' problem we have is we spend money on the game. And the only game studio problem is they received payment voluntarily from the players. Nobody is forcing nobody into anything. Game studio willingly receive money from players and therefore they have a DUTY and OBLIGATION to make their players happy (however unreasonable). If they don't want such 'nasty' players, then offer a refund option so that 'nasty' player can just get out of their game and disappear forever. Problem solved. But they are not offering a refund option, and that is THEIR PROBLEM.

    • @Megz1794
      @Megz1794 Před rokem

      @kwoowoo828:I think other studios did it because all the players agreed on what they wanted or some players left because they don’t play the game as much where as all dream light valley players have done so far is fight over stuff plus other games don’t limit players as much to the point where the players have a chance of leaving the game. Like kristoffs stall is limited too far back that it could cost the game to lose a ton of loyal players aka all the players who play for months on end for hours day in and day out. Other games might not be limited to the point of where people are at risk of leaving the game as a player there are people that are playing Dreamlight valley to its fullest potential aka loyal players and others are just playing Dreamlight valley once in a blue moon for like 5 to 10 minutes. Dreamlight valley needs to think of its loyal players aka those who will play the game to its full potential and not quit on it after a few minutes of playing. Loyal players are players who don’t want to be forced to be limited so much in the game that they will wanna leave the game entirely. Point is someone who plays once in a blue moon is someone who is not playing the game to its fullest potential because they don’t have that much time for the game itself. The loyal players are the only ones who should get a say in what’s in the game Since they are playing the game to it’s full potential. Heck even animal crossing doesn’t limit their players on everything I don’t even know if you can call anything limited in animal crossing at all in general. If a studio screws up a game so badly by limiting it too far in certain areas the game will most likely be at risk of losing alot of loyal players.

      @@Megz1794 My only reply to your comment is if there is anyone who should (in your words) "playing the game to it’s full potential", then it should be the dev themselves. I am saying this because not only in Disney Dreamlight Valley, many other games suffer the same thing. When hardcore players find things getting tedious and repetitive, I am surprised the dev has no idea of this. Take for example many end games will involve some grinds which necessarily means partaking in dailies, or repetitive quests to get their mat. And the fcuk you have to click through a chain of dialogs with the NPC so that you can accept the quest or hand in the quest is just so idiotic. You do it once per quest, you have to clicked through 2-3 pages of dialog (same old shit), you do 5 dailies per day you have to repeat 15 same old shit dialog which you NEVER read (and which idiot will want to read the same dialog over and over again on daily basis? Perhaps game dev think everyone will enjoy, but I DON'T). You do one month of dailies and you have to clicked through 30x15 shit dialog all over again and if you are hardcore to do it for one year of dailies (Which is pretty common), you will have to clicked through 12x30x15 = 5400 same old dialog repeated. Fun? Game dev think it is fun? I don't think so. The fact these shits still remain the way it is in the game is because game Dev DON'T play their OWN game enough (not to the extend of hardcore loyal players). They perhaps play it on test basis ONCE in a while else they would also be frustrated by the stupid tediousness of the game and therefore will CHANGE IT.
      The best game are those which the game dev are themselves the hardcore players of their own game and playing it as extensive as the other players (and surprise surprise those game will have somehow have an option called "Skip all the shitty dialog and just give me the quest" basically one click to accept and one click to hand-in. No nonsense. You know these dev know their shits and this is a mark of a 'good' game. Oh wait what about Disney Dreamlight Valley? Do you have to click through 2 dialogs everytime you visit goofy's stall? How many times you visit goofy's stall per day of game play? Do you READ what goofy has to say EVERYTIME you visit his stall? I am sure those fanboys will scrutinize EVERY WORD of Goofy's dialog to see if he said different things EVERYTIME they visit his stall and that is good for them. But it is no go for me.). Then they know every inch of shits hiding inside the game and will improve them. They would have interacted with the players in-game extensively and know what is going wrong with the game. The only thing a game designer (not programmer) should do is to spend all his/her time playing the game he/she design and not go office attend meeting and doing all the paper talk building castle in the air.
      Its true chef don't eat their own cooking, car manufacture boss don't drive the car they manufacture (Elon Musk drive Toyota?), pharmaceutical company CEO don't inject the vaccine which they produced, army general don't risk their live fighting in frontline trenches, politician don't believe they word they said, AND game dev don't play the game (enough) they produced. And you know why? Its just a job to them and they know what shits they have produced.
