Im having an issue with my acura mdx 2007, it wont turn on after driving it 2-3 times and can only turn back on once my car has completely cool down. I changed the alternator and battery a month ago and this problem just started for me and someone mention it could be the “main relay” thanks for any tips or info that can help
Sorry no disrespect but there is a fuel pump relay it's on top of the driver side fuse box it will be a gray blue or red/pink little box it's not like the rest of the big ones the designed a newer smaller one I know because I did the same thing your doing only to find out there is one just not the one we were looking for I pulled my whole sht apart before I figured it out so anyway I hope this helps
First one in, last one out, first to fail, hardest to get to... Acura MDX Honda's demented cousin. Tow to your nearest dealer for our super labor rates and cheap parts. At least it ain't an 88 ford exploder.
@@MILO20121 alright bro thanks cuz my Acura not wanting to start & I’ve replaced a good amount of stuff and it still won’t start unless I spray it with starter fluid it will turn on but within a few seconds not much it shuts off I replaced Alternator used but one year warranty the starter is new a new battery changed timing belt the power steering pump fuel pump fuses some relays oxygen sensors both of them spark plugs oil changed and the crankshaft sensor the camshaft sensor only one tho the solenoid and it still won’t start and the funny thing is that I do not have a light issues all my lights work fine not dimmed and all the lights from the dashboard work AC works radio works and i still can figure it out
@@oscarbelmudez9926 hey Oscar. Did you figure it out? I'm having the exact same issues as you. Fuel pump kicks in. But won't start. Only runs on spray.
@@AlishaReno2010 yes I found out the what the issue was on my Acura it was the ground cable that goes to the starter it was messed up and wasn't making good contact so that's why my car wouldn't start most of the time once I fixed that my car starts every time now
@@MILO20121 so ended up being the cause to your problem? Was it the blue relay for fuel pump or was it the main brown relay? And what was the symptoms to your problem that?
Bro ! Really really thank you you just saved me from destroying the dashboard
That medal clip is hard to take off someone needs to do a video on how to take it off
