Hello, I will be retiring in early 2025. Currently not sure what region is a good fit for me. Amenities -I prefer are good public transportation, bars, restaurants, safety and walking. Any suggestions?
They should give the houses away for 1 euro, like they did before to attract new residents who restore the place.

Not that easy, you have to get everybody who has an inheritable interest in the house to agree. Evidently, the owner of this house doesn’t agree to just give it away, even for one euro!
