- Well we set out to vlog the Ghost Town in the other half of Cyprus! Julie decided she didn't want to ride the e-scooter anymore and came off!

Paz my friend Yianna lived on 37 Kennedy Avenue, she came to study nursing with her sister, in Wolverhampton, she was 20 years old, she married a local man , now she lives in kingswinford.

I've read that summat was passed on 28th June 24 to allow the area to be restored. Pretty sure I read that people would be able to return to their homes (what's left of them!). But our guide also advised us that those affected had been compensated. So not sure what to think

A great vlog very very informative and a refreshing change and a cut above others I’ve seen . Thought this was as respectful as you could be , I’m not going to get into the politics of it all , but it’s a beautiful part of Cyprus . Poor old Jools stop messin about 😂

14.57 - i saw this in person myself last month, i'm 95% certain it's an Opel Rekord (imagine a 70's vauxhall carlton) that i think was dumped there after August 74 as this model wasn't in production then.

I'm getting there but will take weeks/months to fully recover. I was actually a lot worse than shown in video. More bruising came out in the following weeks. Still have lump on arm

Been watching, but must say without Predjudice. Learn History? The Turks invaded in 1974, there are 3-1 Turkish Military in the North. They sell the land that belongs to the Greeks. Yorkshire woman sells her property in England pay 300,000 for a property that is then retracted so she loses her house in England and owns nothing in Cyprus. Check out why the Cypriots don't like the Queen, honestly Paz?? The first thing I did before coming here was to check it out!! Good luck.
We went to Varosha last year on the Red Bus. I know Mr John goes to but you only get 2 hours there. Can I ask how you got there please as we would like to spend longer there. Thank you

She didn't want to say at the time.. but it was an e-scooter accident
E scooters are not that safe , jools was lucky and hope you were able enjoy the rest of your holiday.

I have visited Varosha 3 times myself, walked from Derenyia crosspoint into Famagusta, past St Catherine church, and Ayia zoni church, walked around the two main places, Demacatis street, where the parades took place, my favourite place, the Greek girls lyceum, where they study ballet, theatre etc,a beautiful design building, then walked it back to the crosspoint, so I guess I walked more than 10 miles, and I'm old 57 years old😂😂
The bruising did actually come out a hell of a lot more over following couple of weeks, still bruised now after almost 3 weeks. If you watch subsequent vlogs and lives, you'll see the bruising coming out.
Yo pat. Me and my wife and daughter arrived in gumbet yesterday july4th from Scotland and yes we are staying at the parkim ayaz hotel. Place is amazing and thanks to you we knew the surroundings before we came . Place is amazing staff are great. Going out for our first meal tonight. Thanks bud
