    Brian would like to recommend a lav mic for your instructional videos because it's a little hard to hear..it would also help you not have to project your voice as much :-) it's helped me hope the advice helps you.. God bless

    ​ @Brian Brazeal Hi Brian Did u use carbon steel on this one ¿When you quench the top to upset the shoulders is the any chance to it to break or your can only do this on mild steel?

      I used 4140 a chromoly medium carbon aloy. I did not quench it. I merely cooled it, so it does not harden it. Good question. Most do not understand the difference between cooling and quenching. Thank you.

    It just shows you don't need a fancy anvil, just and anvil shaped object!

      It's called a striking anvil, made from mild steel so it dents and does not chip.
