Brandon Stone is a stage name, real name is Bessarion Shpetishvili. He is Georgian, born in 1980 in the USSR, in Tbilisi. Of course, he knows Russian (he speaks it no worse than his native Georgian). He wrote the song "The Day You..." for Diana several years ago. In general, he has been collaborating with her for a long time and writes music and arrangements for her. Bessarion’s family went to Germany in the 1990s, where he graduated from a music institute with a degree in jazz composition. Then he lived and worked for a long time in the USA and Germany, where he performed quite successfully as a jazz composer and musician. In the late 2000s, he moved to Russia, where he lives now.
Übrigens habe ich Brandon vor langer Zeit bei „The Voice of Germany“ und bei „The Voice“ in Russland gesehen. Er schnitt in beiden Wettbewerben sehr erfolgreich ab und erreichte in einem Wettbewerb das Halbfinale.

И всё-таки, я надеюсь, мы дождёмся от них песни, где она сможет использовать и эти свои редкие, уникальные способности в нижнем диапазоне, как например, это было сделано в начале песни "Полюшко-поле". А ещё ему очень понравилась сцена - и это в самом деле была одна из трёх лучших для неё сцен в прошлом году. Две другие были на шоу "Искусство Ханса Циммера". В итоге все окончательно убедились в том, что она не затеряется ни на одной сцене - и украсит собой любое, даже самое масштабное зрелище. Настоящий восторг и потрясение возможны только на таких сценах, только на таких больших мероприятиях, когда вы видите воочию, что масштаб вашего любимого артиста и масштаб всего происходящего друг другу соответствуют...

Brandon Stone (birth name Besarion Shpetishvili, born May 18, 1980, Tbilisi) is a Georgian-German music producer, singer, and composer. He is a songwriter for German, Georgian, Azerbaijani, Ukrainian and Russian artists.
In 1995, he and his family moved to Germany. In 2001, Brandon graduated from the Berlin Conservatory, graduating with honors as a jazz pianist.
Musical sound producer of the international song contest "New Wave" from 2005 to 2010.
Brandon Stone was born in Georgia in 1980 and grew up there until his family moved to Germany when he was 15 (and didn't leave him behind 🙂).
Presumably Russian is his first language.
He is a superb and very successful singer-songwriter and keyboard player.
This song is one of many that he has written specifically for Diana.
She performed the first of them "As your voice" - a paean to mother Russia that is a celebration of her voice - when she was 16, as a guest at one of his own concerts in Moscow.

Brendon stone is indeed not from a English speaking country, he is is in fact from Georgia and uses ‘Brandon Stone’ as his stage name. Brandon Stone known and worked with each other when Diana was around 15 or 16 years old and they are great friends. He writes and produces her music and tries to get out of her comfort zones to broaden her technique. When the audio/video came out, I wanted a duet between the two... and here they are: Diana and Brandon performed the song 'The Day When You...' at the main New Year's concert on December 17, 2023 at the MTC Live hall. In My Huge City came out a month or two before this duet was performed live...one of my favorite Diana originals. The spectacular live performance of Paul's Dream from the movie DUNE in a Hans Zimmer tribute with a live orchestra. It's alien, grandiose, tribal, atmospheric and spectacularly Diana.

One of my favorites by her is from the "Show Mask Go On" entitled "Oh' It's Not Yet Evening" czcams.com/video/cfTiQkJrLi0/video.html. It's an over 300 year old folk song about a Cossack warrior who dreams of his death in an imminent battle. On Diana's face you see sadness, anxiety and pain of the soul of the Cossack warrior. One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song.
I'm not sure how many people appreciate the emotional gasps she produces here that absolutely melt me.
The translation of the lyrics is wrong here as regards "What is wrong with me?" IN THIS CONTEXT the correct translation into English would be "What is happening to me?"...
