Merseyside Police Headquaters - Rose Hill

In this video we visited the new Merseyside Police Headquaters - Rose Hill.

This new police station cost £48m and is the Territorial police force responsible for policing in Merseyside covering an area of 647 sq kilometers and around 1.5 million people.
It was completed and opened in 2021.
This new station has more that 1100 officers and police staff.
This new police station is named after a former police station Rose Hill Bridewell, that operated on the site between 1849 to 1977.
On the site is a memorial garden for lives lost during public service, to help with modern design features it has LED lights throughout and has 260 solar panels, 500 parking spaces, external gym, outside running track, outdoor seating and 96 trees have been planted.
This new station will save the Police force's running costs by upto £250k per year.
It really is an amazing looking building, construction was completed by Willmot Dixon Group
