Lucky guy to receive the double Christmas gifts just in time! I noticed that some of the model specs Gus supplied VA with are more powerful ones among his designs, the Ansbach, the Milan, the Lyon are in that camp. But the Strasbourg is among the liveliest sword. Those inaugural cuts are awesome! Looking forward to your reviews.

Excellent choices. I have a Tauber and a Milan. Both are amazing swords. Look forward to the full review! And as far as compared to the Ansbach, it all depends on if you want a sword for tomorrow’s battle facing all kinds of enemies or a sword for dueling/self-defense after a night at the local tavern and couple ruffians want some trouble. I won’t be surprised if the Tauber ends up taking over your top spot based on its agility, quickness, and balance.

Yeah I can definitely tell they are designed to do different things. And they both succeed at what they are built to do. As someone who's known to frequent shady taverns the more agile sword is very appealing 😂
      Thanks for watching!

Looking forward to the reviews on handling performance, especially the Strasbourg, and how that compares to the Ansbach. Looks like a bit of competition. Epic swords.

Due to how Valiant Armoury/Angus Trim make their swords, I am jealous of them as a maker. I never handled one of their swords, but they look good. Yet, I want to make small subtle changes to some of their models to match my personal preferences (e.g. angle surfaces on the crossguard to facilitate thumb over the blade type grips, or to facilitate fingering the guard).
More importantly, I want to have my own designs made, designes that move out of the middle ages. I'll never get to be skilled with a forge, but I feel like I could have my own designs made using the same approch as Valiant Armoury/Angus Trim. That perseption is making jealous of their setup.
    So yea, I don't want a Valiant Armoury/Angus Trim sword, I want Valiant Armoury/Angus Trim as a maker. :)

Thanks! We always try to be objective and help people make a good buying decision. Sometimes it's hard when you're really happy about something though 😅

Jealous! I've been wanting a Milan for some time now. I handled one at Combat Con this year and it felt great - really cemented my desire to own one.
If the Strasbourg handles similarly to the Tauber, which I imagine it does since they're the same blade, it's an absolute treat. The Tauber remains one of my absolute favorite swords for just how perfectly it handles.

Hey!!! Fantastic pieces!!!! I am looking at a couple Vision pieces. I am having a very hard time trying to decide which one. Which one is thinner…the tauber of stras? Longer? Great channel guys! Keep it up

Thank you sir! And yeah that's a tough decision. They share the same blade so I'm guessing they are more similar than not. I think that'll come down to which you prefer aesthetically. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Thanks for the update! I really hope you can some day review the Valiant two handed Irish leaf blade and the Ribaldo by lk chen.

Both of those swords look fantastic and we'd love to review them some day. Kane Shen has a review of the Ribaldo on his channel. You should check it out if you haven't already.
      Thanks for watching!

@@UnsheathedSwordReviewsI may have missed my chance with the Ansbach, but am now looking at the Vision Ranger. I really would like my 40th birthday present to be a sword so my 16 year old self can finally stop asking, “Dude, where’s my sword?”
If I end up getting it, would you guys be interested in trying it out?

Just pulled the trigger on the Tauber, the last in stock at AOC. Very much looking forward to your full review!
