I feel sad for the people who hide their work from their families. My dad was the first person apart from myself to read my novel (or, rather, a rough draft of it) from start to finish, and my mom is my critique partner. I can’t imagine how awful I’d feel being unable to share my accomplishment with them.
Omg I do the listening to music one all the time it’s the only way I can write lmao. I have two playlists and I use a mix of both to set my mood for the chapter

I’m glad I’m a digital artist as well as a writer. My protagonist is of extraterrestrial descent and I have no idea how I’d even begin to describe her to someone else for them to draw without showing them reference drawings. That being said, I already chose a friend who’s working on a webcomic (I give him writing advice and he gives me drawing advice) to be my cover artist. I have already commissioned him numerous times and he has already seen the protagonist in numerous drawings, so I know he’ll do a good job.

IN ONE OF MY STORIES, THE HERO (male) FALLS IN LOVE WITH A EVIL VAMPIRE (Villian and Male) AND THEY AGGRESSIVLY FLIRT WITH EACHOTHER BUT YEAH. My parents are homophobes btw SO IF THEY TRY READING MY STORY I HAVE A MODIFIED ONE THAT IS MALE AND FEMALE. S
