I fw Jace heavy but his point on the current sound of music in the beginning I don’t really agree with, music is an art, and art is entirely subjective . If everyone rapped like Eminem there wouldn’t be a reason to find new artist or new sounds because it’ll all be the same. Some music have deep themes where they talk about stuff artist have been through, and some songs are bizzare and over exaggerated to fit a certain genre, but at the end of the day that’s just art. Some illustrators can draw super detailed and in depth drawings, while others draw Less detailed and unrealistic work. At the end of the day the both are works of art, they just serve a different purpose. If you need a hype song more than likely your not gonna vent about your depression and bm, your gonna talk about things that pertain to that genre.
But where I see flaws in artist is when they confuse art with reality,and push that onto the audience to make clearly bad things look good.

Im not even fan of this nigga xavier music but just trying to attack him on the fact that he's gay is dumb too, take Tyler for instance who would say in their right mind that Tyler isn't more "Hip hop" than Jace just cause he gay ?He goes more in depth about his subject matter which are meaningful by the way, got crazy flows, good rhyme structures and produced his own shit and I'm not saying Jace don't have any talent he got good songs and can sometimes convey emotions really well but it's simply not as traditional rap as Tyler that's why his "old head" view kinda caught me off guard. Jace don't seem like a bad dude at heart he just a product of his own environment but he gotta try to reflect on himself more accept when he's wrong and respect others more

I like how he not only treating JACE like an artist or as a way to get views, but also as a person and respecting his opinions and thoughts on situations and let him speak his truth. Jace may not be perfect, but nobody Is and he's actually being himself, not trying to be too cool all the time or mysterious, when he's mad, he'll show it, when he's sad, he'll show it. We missing that human element in underground rappers nowadays so it's always great to see Jace getting the chance to speak his truth without a filter (for the best and for the worst lmao but again, nobody Is perfect).
