Man in late season Pa. you don’t see deer that relaxed on public land. Looks like you have a good area.
I've never had success late season.. I try to get off the beaten path and occasionally you'll see deer. But it's not very often. Thanks so much for watching!
Dang at least you saw some! I hunt in MI as well. Terrible year for me and I did hunt a lot. I need to get out there more now though. In Oakland county we still have to the end of January to bow hunt. Today is 1-6. Edit...I see you hunt in the same counties and know the extended period, very nice!

Glad you are out of the hospital. So do you carry a small chair? Or just sit on the ground? That's got to be exciting hunting off the ground. Less to carry! Plus super mobile on the ground as well! Can pack up and leave More quickly than if you were in a tree!
Thanks, first time in my life I really believed I was dying! I have a small 3 legged chair. But I actually just ordered another one that is still 3 legged but has a back to it. My back isn't the greatest and I need some support. Sometimes I will switch from the chair to being on my knees. And yes, I get out of the woods a lot faster hunting from the ground lol.
