- The Hammer Hazmat Solid brings that strong symmetrical solid back into the Hammer lineup. A perfect ball on fresh oil to control the pattern, but what is so interesting about this ball? Most aggressive symmetrical balls are typically only good playing straighter angles, but not this one...

With the help of SPECTO data, it'll help tell the story about reaction shape, overall hook and continuation through the pins. Here are the SPECTO data points used and definition of each term:
Launch Speed - Speed measured off the hand.
Entry Speed - Speed measured at the pins. (What you'd see on your home center MPH screens)
Rev Rate - Revolutions Per Minute (RPM)
Launch Angle - The angle the ball traveled the first 10 feet.
Break Point Position - Board at which the ball was at its outermost position.
Total Hook - Total number of boards the ball crosses on the way to the pins.
Hook Power - Number of boards the ball hooked based from the True Breakpoint.
Entry Angle - The angle of the ball between 51 and 55 feet.
Impact Angle - The angle of the ball between 57 and 59.5 feet.
Pin Deck Exit - Ball position at the end of the pin deck.

That ball looks so good. Hammer has the best lineup of balls on the market right now, in my opinion. They are just releasing one banger after another.

I agree with you! You can build an entire 6 ball arsenal just with hammer bowling balls, and they have the best urethanes!!! This ball is another good strong ball released by hammer!😁👍

The core is very similar to the core of the Stealth, and the ball motion is similar too. It's an excellent ball for anyone who is speed dominant.
Calling it right now, they’re going to come out with either a Hammer Effect solid or a Dull Hybrid by either September or November

I was actually curious about this ball when i saw it and you’ve confirmed my suspicions about it, i know for a fact i’m more rev dominant and to me a ball like this i feel like i would have stand so far left to keep it on target that by the time i got back to pocket i’d run into carry problems, but that’s just me i would definitely see this as a good piece for more speed dominant who don’t get quite as much hand in it as you do, appreciate the videos as always Nick, keep up the good work!

This ball looks great, able to make some big hooks that something like the Track Cypher just can't manage to get back to the pocket. It looks easily controllable with a bit of room for error. Just a really impressive ball.

The 'entry speed' is that about what you see as the speed at most houses on the screen? Essentially the speed at the pins?

Semtex material coverstock.....do you feel it hydroplane in oil and sudden bite on dry? that kind of over-under reaction reminiscent of some olden day reactive....is this material old stocks from 2016 Dark Legend era?

If you change the val angle from 20 to 30 would that correct the ball from hitting the thumb hole?
Maybe yes. I’d just go to a 5” pin if I was overly worried about it.

Nick’ I have the hybrid hazmat and I want the solid. I hit the hybrid @ 2k, Now should I leave it where it’s at and I wipe off the lane shine always. My Q is just leave the hybrid where it’s at and have both or get another solid from radical or who or what ball ? Thanks nick
@@remington1439 if you keep the surfaces the same, the original will still get a little more length. I’d probably let it lane shine some to separate them more.

Interesting combination here. Given that the Hazmat Solid does not have HK22, and shares the same cover, I wonder how this compares to the Scandal. If you get the performance of the Scandal at the price point for the Hazmat, this would be a good ball.
