@@Philbilly_Rocks yeah man, you should check out mohawk valley mineral mining, if you havnt already. You get a whole side of a mountain to dig( other than restricted areas).
The last time I was @ Crystal Grove was in Fall of 2010, after a rain storm. Front pit, between main road and parking area/tenting spot, had changed a lot since the latter 1990's. Still found Herks without having to break rock.
Looks like claim at Crystal Grove. I know it takes hours and hours to finally find that first pocket. Congrats.

@@Philbilly_Rocks same here. 3.5 hour drive for me so I can't do a day trip. I try to go every year.
