Holy crap!! That is amazing!
I've had the previous model for about 2 years and I use it about 5% of the time. It is a time saver and it does work. Be careful you can smoke the paint pretty easy. It only works on flat and convex surfaces. I would recommend though !

So it's no good for thicker metal like f150 ?
We are creating a certain frequency with which we activate the top layer of the metal. This is so called "skin effect" stimulates the metal to move out.

Saw this in use by Ed China of Wheeler Dealers works great but not too sure how far you could go with it. I'm sure it's fine for smaller dents but what about larger?

the reason you are burning the paint is because, you are heating to long. Let it cool and try again.

I need one. my car has a lot of dents, it got a hail damage
Impossible you will be able to fix your hole car with this thing! Call a good local pdr guy and get it fixed right. If you notice every dent he uses it on pulls the dent way too high so now the dents are popped up instead of FLAT. Trust me ive tested this thing and have been doing pdr for 15 years.

It pulls high because thats how you push a dent as well. You must over stretch with pressure and contracts smaller. This is what the Hot Box is doing. When the panel cools, it lays back down flat. I have used it a lot and it has it's place. I think it will be a time saver for sure on certain pdr applications.

For Aluminum you will have to use the Alu T-Hotbox. This unit is for aluminum panels. Please see the following video. The system works much better on Alu than on Steel panels due to the material characteristics.

I just bought one it doesn't work it may reduce very small dent just little if any look carefully on the first dent on the door he fix you will see he reduce it but didn't remove it

All this is doing is creating highs that you will have to knock down later . Only way I would use this is maybe on the rails , not feeling it.

Yeah I’ve never used one, but buddies say on light damage at commercial jobs they use it on rails. You need to tap it before it shrinks backs down so you can force some metal back into the dent. Otherwise it pretty much returns when it cools off. I mean, you can get a heat gun to move metal in a similar fashion.

Ha!! Coming from a guy who wetsands EVERYTHING. It has NO place in NYC. I would have to give handjobs to used car managers to give me one of these rookie hail dents. First of all this will be putting people out of work, but im not worried because i only do cave ins and collision dents(no wetsanding needed, rookie!). We dont get hail in the Northeast... We like orange peel in the big apple, lmao.
