I'm about 2-hours north of you and there was been so many animals attacks, I hike a lot and always carry, I have come across Mountain Lions, and just recently we had someone get eaten by a bear. Bear sightings and encounters have dramatically risen, several times bears have walked into the grocery store.

Yes! Mainly with the driving here, it’s hot and ppl are usually always mad and pull guns a lot in road rage situations.

It’s not that dangerous here. Obviously there are shitty people and if you’re closer to the border you wouldn’t want to hike like this but this mountain is in the middle of phoenix so no border crossing luckily
