i think that the child of prophecy is just someone who finds the book and it sends them to this world and when he found the book again he already had a body there so he just woke up if he didn't find the book again his body in that world would just be in eternal sleep and they would say that he died. ( Just something i thought of after watching it. Very nice movie ( ' v ' ) . )

No. See it as two body's in different worlds that share a soul and therefore a consciousness. If one body is no longer fit for life (dead) or losses consciousness then the soul moves to the other body
