I really appreciate learning about all these musicians I’ve not heard before. I think with a lot of groups the focus is usually on the lead vocalist and one or two guitarists, I’m enjoying learning about the other musicians as well. I’ve literally never heard Motörhead, but you can tell they had huge energy and influence. Thank you!🤗

Charlie returned to New Zealand and Joined his Cousin in a Reggae band Herbs.Some anti Nuclear protest songs like French Letter..and Long Ago. Were popular songs in NZ.

My mates and I had bought package tickets (which included a London to Stafford coach) to see MH at Stafford Bingley Hall but on the day, the coaches either never showed or, taking one look at the wet and bedraggled mob waiting in a muddy field near Kings Cross, decided to keep going. As a result, we were given free tickets and carriage to the Nottingham gig. Happy days! BTW, huge mistake not to release "No Sleep" as a double album back in the day. Robbed it of legendary status like Alive I and II, Gonzo and Strangers. Oh well.....

Good thing he became a professional musician and didn't need to rely on being a TV repairman. That seems like a job that would not be a thing in more recent times. (I could be wrong and if so feel free to correct me).
Every town used to have a repair shop in those days,they were very useful places,they would repair just about anything,and cheaply too! Televisions,radios,washing machines,record players,drills,tape decks,lawn mowers,you name it,they repaired it.
