Suga Free spoke to VladTV about buying studio time to record his music when he was a teenager, but not publicly releasing it and only giving it out to his family and friends. He went on to explain how he met DJ Quik, who gave him "Why You Bullsh*ttin'," which was originally meant for 2Pac.
During the conversation, Suga Free detailed being in the studio while Dr. Dre was recording The Chronic, and he revealed that he sat silently and took everything in. You can hear more about Suga Free's experience above.

He got to see the "Chronic" album being made. That's INCREDIBLE!! If he had the 💰 for it he should've hopped on it as a surprise guest feature on any song he was creating. The additional storytelling that comes from his mouth is mind blowing! It's a humble thing for him to say that when the "Chronoic" was being made he agreed that Dre's album would surpass his own earlier material. Most people aren't mentally built like that. I hope the 2 of them would do music together.
