I think younger people generally have 100s of tabs open because it’s stuff we intend to look at at some point (whether we do or not is another story lol), whereas Boomers don’t understand tabs at all and so never close any. My mum will have like 5 tabs of the exact same website open and when I tell her to close tabs she asks how. lol
