I got bored with this game and thought FFB was really bad. I just tried it out again the other day after a few weeks and I got FFB dialed in to where its not so bad and actually been having a pretty decent time palying it again! Great looking video btw... SICK drift trough the carousel bro! The game looks great in your rig! I can't wait to get my triples. Excellent as always. I've got a DD Pro, happy with it but my palms are itching and I can't help myself wanting a DD+. Is it really that big of a difference in your view considering you are very heavily invested in motor sport racing and have considerable more experience/time in it than I do. I dabble but am no where as good, but also not bad. Just feel sometimes had just that tad bit more oomph. I mostly run GT3, f1, Forza and GT7 on PS5, some rally not too much and mods in AC. I've heard lots of good things as far as performance goes being it compared very similar to mid/upper range from Asetek and even simucube when it comes to responsiveness and fidelity. Thoughts? Did you find difference to be significant of the CSL DD/Pro?

Short answer:
Honestly, the DD+ is the pinnacle of wheel bases I've used. While I try not to overhype products, its performance genuinely stands out for me!
Long answer:
I was quite satisfied with the CSL DD and wasn't expecting a monumental shift moving to the DD+. However, the transition was notably impressive, particularly when trucking and playing GT2/GT3 cars in ACC and AMS2. The DD+ didn’t just offer increased strength, its responsiveness and fidelity in feedback are significantly better.

But the DD Pro is still a good wheel.
I also recommend you watch some reviews from @boostedmedia and others, because those are just my thoughts and opinions🙂

Quick question, does your DD+ make a whining or humming sound coming from wheelbase? A lot of people who received the first batch of DD+ have this issue jut wondering if you have experienced the same problem. Also I love your videos brother! In WRC I use Fanalabs recommended settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 and default in-game settings with soft-lock on 😊

it looks like you feel really well the rear end, and that is what i'm looking for, controlling drift.
I think everyone focuses too much on front end tire bite but then the force drop off is really bad to feel rear end correction.
TBH when I drive IRL and in karts that "drop off" effect doesn't exist. sometimes I understeer hard into exit kerbs, it's part of it! that's why they're there!

And I never got to perfecting the feeling, because it's kinda impossible with this game. They didn't have sim racers in mind when they made this game..

@@ProjectSimRacing ​ah sorry my bad. I've read it too fast. I found the default settings not too bad, the game felt like "it had potential" kinda like AMS2 on release was wonky and now it's miles better.
My Fanalab "defaults" are Game fx at standard 100% and FEI 100. all the "natural" filters at 0 and int 0 or 1,2 if needed.
Usually I start from there and only add any filtering or fake weight if the ffb is twitching like crazy.

I know others may not agree, but camera movement is very immersive on Forza. And yes, real race car drivers will tell you it is more accurate thsn the nearly static cockpit cams in most sims. Which is a statement that angers sim racers for whatever reason. Like yeah, you might be faster with static cams but that doesnt translate into realism. Race cars are harsh and take strength and stamina to drive.
