- After spending 4 hours at Kim Son Buffet the previous night, I invited @TimLeeLetsGo to take on a MASSIVE Pho Challenge at Yummy Pho & Bo Ne in Katy, TX hoping for a chance that one of us might win the $200 Cash Prize.

No way I could ever do a food challenge. Congrats on the effort because that's the only thing that matters if you want to do a specific challenge. I remember seeing Raina finish the entire thing - you and Tim gave it a shot but I'm not sure how anyone except for a professional eater could do this! That was a lot of food!

I usually make my own Pho at home and use ox tails and boneless shanks. Two big pots about 30 bowls of pho for our family.

I actually use rock sugar in my soup since it’s a big 16 quart pot. I only use one 1 inch rock sugar for the whole pot and also I use 3 big sweet onions.

You both had alot of crawfishs but the best part was the weekend dinner price $28 for all the seafood!! OMG that’s a HUGE BOWL!!!! Can’t believe you guys took the pho challenge. 👍👍👍This is our fav pho place (my hubby loves the beef short ribs so we can’t eat pho anywhere else unless they have beef short ribs) we use to eat here every Friday but the westhimer location till they open the katy location.

You are right. The noodles get challenging once they soak up the broth. You could get through the meat first and then just suck back the noodles and broth. I avoid any hot sauce or hot peppers with a large bowl. It just makes downing the pho harder. But good luck trying the challenge.
I should have separated the noodles and the broth as soon as they brought it out ..if I do it again , I will definitely start sooner..I waited a bit too long during this channel 😣

The trick is to pull all the noodles into another bowl so it doesn’t soak up all the juice.
