Happy birthday Phil. Pantera has always been one of my top favorite bands. Vulgar Display of Power showcased some of the best vocals, guitars and drumming I'd ever heard from a metal band.
So sweet they did this.
I saw slayer on their farewell tour in 2019 and that night was also tom arayas birthday. The crowd sang to him as well but he didn't have a cake on stage

Dime and Vinnie looked at those as demos and never had any desire to revisit them when they were alive. It would be cool to hear them play something from Power Metal but I doubt Phil can get that high these days. 😂

Well … Dime did say on Video that “ I wouldn’t trade my gold spandex for nothing ! ” Haha! Always so damn funny. 😄 man I miss his playing but just as much I miss his awesome personality ( and Vinnie as well ) always clowning around with the band and all of us fans every chance he had! He always said the guys in the band and the fans are not separated! We are all the same people just like them , that is one of the the secrets to Pantera’s success!
