- The US Navy Blue Angels performed flyovers above Nashville, Tennessee and Little Rock, Arkansas on May 14th, 2020 to honor health care and essential workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. The team operated from NAS Pensacola in the Florida panhandle.

Wow those boys and girls must have tough right arms, look closely at the stick, constantly holding it there with 40Lb of back pressure every flight...ouch. Respect to them and a great vid as always 👏
Techy111, you made a great point. Their grip on the stick handle is wrist dominant. Their right arm stays always curled leaving the biceps to do all the job in order to compensate for the built - in stick pressure.
It all contrasts with the delicate action of the throttle right on the opposite console.
It's all about minute control movements on the stick to stay in that close formation. Handling that stick pressure for that long would kill any human arm for sure.
I saw and caught them over Long Island, New York 2 weeks ago! Awesome catch!
