You and Honoria manage to escape the city guards through the sewer system, but unfortunately you don't make it out unscathed. As soon as Honoria notices, she's determined to take care of you, regardless of your stubbornness. Despite being safe for the time being, it's going to be up to the two of you to decide what comes next now that the guards are hunting you down. What will you do, and will what result upon your return to the infirmary?

I smiled as I followed Honoria through the sewers, in spite of the pain still resonating in my shoulder; lessened now, thanks to Honoria's efforts. For most, the darkness, chill, and damp of the urban waterway system might seem inhospitable or even frightening...but I actually felt safe here, and my healer companion seemed to agree with me. At first, her surprise at my ability to treat her leg wound offended; as if I hadn't been associating with her long enough to learn a few things of my own about medicine. Now, however, it was more amusing than anything else. Perhaps I could surprise her again; maybe then, she might consider bringing me along on her house calls more often without making such a fuss...

@@WhiteFireWillow I'm sure you'll manage that quickly! The sort of audio storytelling you're doing has a lot of room for quick improvement, and so many opportunities to slip in little sound effects that build up into an entire background soundscape.
And if you find yourself sometime thinking that you're trying to cram TOO many effects in, just keep this in mind: one does not need to have ALL the sounds, so long as one has ENOUGH sounds for the listener's mind to fill in the rest!

Do you get people asking if they can do a voice response to your actors? What's the view of this for fire willow productions? I have only come across your channel due to a recommendation, and while I respect your craft I feel challenging to respond in tandem to elevate your actors more then my actions.

Howdy! Hopefully I'm able to answer your question to the best of my ability. I've never been asked about voice responses, to be honest. The idea behind these audio stories is for the listeners (aka: you all) to insert themselves or a character of their creation into the stories/adventures my characters are also a part of. The Listener's responses are guided by one of my characters/the script but ultimately it's up to the Listener to think of their own responses to each story they're inserted into. You are more than welcome to respond to these characters in the comments if you wish. I've seen this done in other audio story/roleplay comments sections. I wholeheartedly appreciate you supporting my channel, and hope to bring more stories and content soon!
