My god that drummer
i was thinking the same thing.
That bassist
Esta hermoso verdad ?
I'm here 3yrs later to say, "M god that drummer." He reminds me of Brad Wilk and his tiny ass set getting all that noise for Rage Against the Machine.
My drummer that god.
People tell me this is elevator music, and I want to slap them. If this was actually like elevator music id push every button on the god damn thing and jam out. People would think i'm Cracked out.
it kinda does sound like it at points though, i see what they mean. something about keys in jazz that reminds me of fancy hotels and Sims games.
elevator music stays cool, it's very light. This ain't
yeah it's hardly easy listening, but sometimes it's difficult to make the differentiation with the loudness wars happening in the pop charts or, like me, frequent visits the the Doom subcategory of my music folder, resulting in total desensitisation of heaviness and a skewed perception of what light sounding music actually is.
Mikail Elchanovanich Would you call BBNG monotone? I find that elevator/lounge music often has this quality
not at all, but elevator music does have a characteristic mundanity to it, buy it's very nature it needs to not really go anywhere tonally and hang around the same place whereas this can wander as far as it wants. i think a lot of people just hear electric piano and think stereotypical shopping mall
Why don't you have a Grammy already. You have refreshing music .
Jz Re this is a cover
@@nathansiegel950 really? Who's the composer?
@@barriosteppa2686 Songwriters are listed as BBNG, so I'm not sure what they're talking about
This is unbelievably inspiring. They're so good at understanding how to play together. Especially when they're comping when live.
They're so inspiring i just completed a song listening to this xD!
this is hotter than the sun. if your looking for traditional song structure.... you won't find it here. this is life music.
John Wanamaker cycles that cleanse the soul , LSD , psilocybin
stalin swaggy ...walked through the veil many of times, my focus is widened now. reverberating sounds still reveal themselves during the quiet moments when the shadows grow long. don't let this grey hair fool you, I can still pull kinetic energy from the soil underneath my feet.
John Wanamaker Wtf?
my thoughts exactly
Can't argue with that.
They are all so talented! That bassline is so groovy!
That melodic change. So many emotions hidden in that!
bass and drum duo...damn
DAMN Chester got some new tricks 2:40
the drum is killing me
0.75
I'd sell my soul to see this exact performance live
I had this very chance while I was living in China. A soul selling is definitely worth it🤣🤣. The best I can do is offer you the recording I got from that show. Enjoy
Amazing version, damn gonna listen to the whole "III" album now
That's what I call good fucking jazz.
This is my all time favorite BBNG track
Me too, try out the kaytranada remix

This is absolutely amazing and it reminds of the music I grew up on and it's wonderful to hear people still doing music like this!!!!!!
OMG that was REALLY good
Excellent!!
Righty right right on time-so delicious!
De lo mejor que me encontrado , un saludo desde mexico plebes
Me encanta está banda 🤩 y esta canción más
i love it so much.
Muy bueno muchachos, mis recomendaciones desde Argentina para ustedes. Salud a la buena musica
+Neyen Carcamo sapeeee, saludos desde argentina tambien
si senor
the pianist does so little which does soo much and his melodies are on a another level.
breathtaking
Amazing !
The progression/composition structure is unlike any I have heard! I've been awed....
Morceau de folie. Le batteur est ouf, les trois en fait c'est un regal je m'en lasse pas. Faut qu'ils tournent en France
man they killed it at java jazz this year
this is quality and understanding
Sublime!
Qué buen jazz
Muy pulido son muy profesionales, los felicito
I always prefer when its just the three of them. The lead melodies that Leland plays can be played by Chester, saxophone and guitar are just too harmonious for them. like on Putty boy strut, the version they play in boiler room where chester plays the saxophone line, it sounds so much better
+V Ferreira I'm a sax player and have been really into the jazz scene for years. I love how BBNG incorporates jazz harmony and improv to such an extent, but Leland just doesn't do it for me.
V Ferreira THIS
Correct
they have a great live show
Pure Groove
adoro tudo nesse vídeo
I LOVE THE BASS MAN
Thanks Yuna for introducing BaBadNotGood..
this is so good
Bordering on immaculate song.
I am speechless
I'm loving the "Fuck it" sweater....
Excelencia!
amazing.
I had to make my playlist of ALL their songs! I play them every day. Just found them on CZcams WoW!!!
Great find, and playlist to have throughout the day
wwow this is so good
anytime I listen to this song it feels like I'm being told a story and the ending is bittersweet
2:45 omgg that breaks
this is fucking awesome guys! come to Mexico!
The drummer has a weird way of holding the sticks, but he sounds just phenomenal!
Honestly, this style of music usually can get a bit boring and random for me quickly. But this band is so fresh, vivid and inspiring. Actually prefer listening & watching them as a trio.
It’s old fashioned/jazzy
Thiz was filmed in my hometown of burlington vermont. We got a sweet skatepark right outside this building
they are too friking good!!!
Tight!
how fucking cool are these guys?!
I would love to pick up my guitar and jam with these guys.
Maybe in another life...
i hope they will keep make song like this .. dont change badbadnotgood
YES THANK GOD I CAN SAVE THIS OFFLINE

Ultra Fucking Amazing! Brazil Congrat's!!!

Best version of this song
de outro mundo de outro lugar de outro planeta
Cosa bien hecha
tres bon.
GOODGOODYESTHANKS 🌚 I really like what you do. I support this shit bro
WOW.
pure talent
Skill, talent implies it happened naturally. None of this happens naturally.
raw distilled talent
Raw distilled is a double negative. Also, skill, not talent.
I fucken love this tune
magic
SUPER
REally digging the intro groove. Any other songs similar to it?
BananaTube Triangle, from the same album, or Hedron, that's my personal opinion, but those song are the best.
Nina-Crumb
see u soon at Java Jazz 2016!!
someone tell me the settings on his Korg. just got one myself and that shit sounds dope
Man I feel like a poser. Been lovin BBNG when they started out with hiphop covers but I'm nowhere near as musically literate as a lot of their fans seem to be
i feel it, in my mind, you should fuck with music because you like how it sounds. you don't have to know the music theory or anything behind it, as long as you legitimately enjoy it you shouldn't feel like you're not a genuine fan
@@Afroctopus I think listening to it because of theory is the thing a poser would do.
@@whatever7338 NAH...it's all art bro being ignorant or sophisticated/educated on it is just what it is and how you interpret(enjoy) it. Of course it's always good to familiarize oneself with the inspiration though. Especially in the age of google it's easily done. It makes for a deeper appreciation/experience
IMHO that is
You don’t need to know what they’re doing in order to enjoy it, but when you know what BBNG is doing (studying theory and shit), it’s really impressive, the feeling and the music they play
Better live than in studio
Some parts remind me of soft machine
yeah this has pretty much all been done by soft machine in the late 60s early 70s. Nice to see modern young kids doing somewhat similar, tho they probably have never heard of soft machine, just arrived at a somewhat similar place thru mixing jazz with grooves and such, which is great, but not a new thing, just has been uncool and underground the last several decades before more recently so people forgot about this style, only coming back more recently as hip to mix jazz with other stuff. But soft machine were the main originators of this style 50 years earlier along with a few others. Glad to see some of you know this, but i'm sure the majority wont.
I was thinking the same, Soft Machine vibes!
Wow. A Pink Floyd moment but with some jazz. I like this. When is the next show?
holy fuck their drummer is fuckin amazing
Moran Plant just wondering what mics were used on the drums? sound quite good
saw this live fkn nuts
studio recording is nowhere near this.
Very very good good not bad bad
sounds like niechec!
which bass is he using? it's like an epiphone EB-0?
