Hi - I have a Silver Bismark that has several clusters of seeds that are about the size of a grape. I realize that they should get about the size of a plum when they are considered ripe and ready to plant. My question, is how long does it take before they are properly ripen? I'm impatient!! Thanks for your advice.
I personally haven't had any experience with Bismarkia so couldn't tell you but most palm seeds will fall off the palm when fully ripe....thats what happens naturally so its a sure sign.
@@palmdaddy Thanks... yes, I understand. I was trying to get a ballpark number like 1 month, 6 months, etc. I guess I will just need to keep an eye and watch them progress. Take care -
Hi, do you close the zip log back all the way? And during the month it took for them to germinate - do you ever water the seeds/sphagnum moss?
keep the moss moist but not wet, seal the bag fully.
How much are the seeds? How tall are the trees? Wide? How big are the frawns?
25cents per seed. www.palmerasyjardines.com/en/species-catalogue/palm-trachycarpus-fortunei/
How do u water them?
Can u use the coconut Nick for germination of palm seeds?
yes, its a good media to use
What do they look like full grown?

I would like to purchase some 360 seeds
Can you email me please your info and address? Palmdaddy99@gmail.com
Can you include the link to the next video once they’ve broke the surface? I’m curious how to care for them once they are a few inches tall
will do. :)

yes, they are all doing well! have 3-4 strap leaves already, each in their own pot.
