They literally said early in the video that his small head size means that his vocal folds are also small, giving him a high pitched voice. Microcephaly (small head) is a part of the condition. Did you watch it?

Amen to THAT! I can't even fathom being in a sour mood...or even a dull mood around Nick! Even just thru the screen, he's brightened my day even more than it was already🥰. Imagine waking up to that cheerfulness named Nicholas every morning. 😃.
He is so easy to love. What a fun young man he is.
Nick is amazing. I actually have a 12 year old son named Nicholas with a chromosome disorder. He is non-verbal and is the size of a 5 year old. There is something about these kids that make them very special. They have a bigger heart than most people and are just a gift to life. Even with the crap they have to go through, they are still so happy. It is amazing.
I hope you and your son are doing alright. I can't imagine your challenges.

He may never grow tall, but he's got the heart of someone 100x his size. Big things come in small packages. Sometimes something that can seem devastating is the best thing for us. He has got a friend in me.

It was always touching when he knelt by his bed and said the Lord's Prayer every night. My mother taught him to pray.

Man I know how it is....my daughter has hypo plastic left heart syndrome my heart goes out to all of you. She had a stroke when she had her first heart surgery at 6 weeks old, she’s had 3 open heart surgeries, she’s 9 years old now had Covid-19 and got through it too. Love you all

I live near their town and I am pretty certain I saw Nick in person as a small child. You can not imagine how completely adorable he was. I wanted to hold him so badly! Tiny, happy and so sweet. I remember his mother as being blonde and very nice. He got a lot of attention, all of it good.
The world would be a better place if we could all learn to love like Nick loves the world.

It’s very sad to see him or anyone suffer like that, and I am glad he is happy and not depressed.
That's one great little guy, and his mom is just amazing. This makes me think about life and what it's really all about, and my problems seem insignificant compared to what these people endure. He is just glowing with happiness despite all his medical issues, and we can all learn something from him and his attitude. And now he has one more friend for life.

I alsolove it when the boys play a video game with him age appropriate for all three young men, plus mom is wonderful, was dad at work he is mentioned but not in the film
As being someone from the US State of Georgia, this hits home as I feel like we are special as I have Autism but I don't show my Autism as over the years I've been able to be like my normal peers who have no special needs but seeing Nick, it has made me glad for his condition, he is able to find the most out of life and I have seen kids with other type of special needs but this is this most sad thing I have watched that has touched my heart.
