Both are denial. 💔 But I do enjoy their performance. I can feel that they were struggling between heart and mind. Applies both ways. YZ played XY who took the “denial” emotionally. She’s the one who asked FFB to get out but then crying wholeheartedly when he’s “dead”. And JCT played the cool XL who’s also hurt by every XY harsh words. Beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. Good performance by both actors. Well done. 👍
Xiaoyao's words stabbed Xiang Liu in his heart. She is so cruel and arrogant to him. She never sees the pain she causes him. It makes me so damn angry and sad at the same time. These words will come back to haunt her. Mark my words.
Actually, Xiao Yao just wants only one word from Xiang Liu that “Love her” so she could make her mind and love him back, but he never say so Xiao Yao just heart broken 💔 and turn back to Tushan Jing I don’t understand why movie never make him say something truth from his heart. ❤️ 😢

Xiang liu dont ever want to hurt xiao yao or abandoned the army. I'm a yaoliu cp so i just enjoy what xl did. Even when i'm in tears a lot 🥲
Actually she’s better alone although I know the ending is she returns to jing, She literally loves both of them, maybe more for jing since they have history and memory, but it just isn’t fair for both xiangliu and jing, I think the original author wants most of her female leads to be loved by several man all at the same time 😅

Yes they're ultimately the same person but identity, background, and a lil bit of personality are different. As Fang Feng Bei, Xiang Liu can be warmer and freely hang out with Xiao Yao without being critcized by anyone. Now that his Fang Feng Bei identity is gone, Xiang Liu can no longer do all that and therefore must go back to being himself - a cold general of the dying Chenrong army who is despised by many. He and Xiao Yao are enemies for real now.
She was just upset he tossed that identity like it was nothing to him. So she said the most hurtful things to him. Little did she know Xiang Liu loved her very much

I wonder the same thing. I like happy endings, humor etc.. This drama is full of misery and suffering. I am beginning to wonder what on earth I am hooked on by watching this. I am glad you said it also so I don't feel like the lone stranger. There must be some emotions that have us hooked into watching because I would hate to think I want to feel this sad.

Yes, same guy, different identities. Black hair guy is FFB who took the bride away from the wedding and got killed. The white hair guy is Xiang Liu. His alter-ego has now been "killed".
FFB and XL are the same person. XL plays at being FFB to interact with the world and to take care of his "human" foster father. He honors him that way. FFB can be more caring to Xiaoyao. XL is a demon dragon general who is aloof and cold but not really. He does have feelings. He just can't show them; it would be weakness.
I really don't think she own him nothing, cause from the beginning he is taking her blood and mistreated her. He was too abusive toward her from the beginning she shouldn't own him nothing at all.
