Disrespect on Airplane Leads to Hair Cutting (soshenglotus)

  • This woman on the airplane kept her hair flowing over the back of her seat, which brushed against the man behind her. This became increasingly irritating to the man, and after what he felt were multiple attempts to address the issue (possibly by politely asking her to move her hair), he reacted poorly by cutting off a piece of her hair.

I read many of the comments and most people do not get it. Her seat stops behind her back. The passenger in the seat behind her has a pull-down tray, for whatever they want to use it for, and her hair would be right in it. I also know it is a skit, but there are some really rude people. In a real situation, get the attention of the stewardess, or just let it lie, for peace's sake.

Although it is a script, there are some very rude people who would do just that. The thousands of likes that sides with the lady, do not understand that the man has a pull-out tray, that is used to place food or anything else, her hair would be right on it. Her seat at her very back, is where her hair should be. In a real situation the man should have spoken to the stewardess, and the lady should too, about him cutting her hair.

These scissors are not of a crocheting size.
I was a security officer at Amsterdam Airport and there it was clear: No scissors or knives in the hand luggage. If you need them aboard, you are to hand them in for the pilots to bag them and give them back once you've left the plane.
So no, these scissors are too large to carry on your hand luggage and wouldn't be for the man to grab.
Therefore I don't think this is really on a flying plane.

I actually had a similar situation. A woman in front of me had very long blonde hair and her plane seat was broken .
when she reclined, it ended up on my lap. I tried to explain to her that she was actually laying on my lap, but she said that wasn’t her problem, so I pushed the back of her chair forward and supported it with my knee . Her hair fell off the sides of the seat and through the duration of flight I styled Her hair in tiny little knots really tiny little knots .
My sister also had hair that was waist long. So I must admit I knew what I was doing.
The only way those little knots will come out is cutting them.
