1:09 I used to repot upon getting plants home, but stopped that practice a year ago June after losing 4 plants in a week. Now, as you say, I let them stay in original pot with original soil. Getting plants out of soil is key for pest control. Now, I preventatively treat for pets. 🗝 let plants acclimate to your home environment before uprooting.
I am struggling with a mild fungus gnat infestation at the moment. So far, Hydrogen Peroxide has done the trick. I worry that I can't use this method on my carnivorous plants. It is very important to let plants adapt!
I am aware of this, but the numerous pups in that pot have had so little time to root that I don't want to risk pulling them out during the procedure. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing the great tips, and have a great day

4:13 your spider plant needs a saucer or cover pot. This will keep your macrame Hanger white

@therandomman6647 what procedure?
Just stick a saucer under the existing nursery pot. No change needed to the pot or plant
I'm just lazy, pretty much.
