If you want to hear God speak, read your Bible out loud.✝️📖

Our church started this prayer course during the C shutdowns (One session each month) and it has been a real blessing,-whether people agree 100%, it doesn’t matter, we are learning and praying together!

Hello, I have been following this course. Just wondering I have noticed Poppy never says in Jesus’ name at the end of her prayer, is there a reason for this?

because they explained that praying in the Jesus name, doesnt' mean to say "in the Jesus name" at the end of a prayer, but it mean to have the same intentions of Jesus, be more like him

Wholemeal bread is much better for you, and God is wholemeal. 😂

@@rosemoon8072 Yes we do. But wholemeal is the best. I eat it most of the time. Just been to a shop and bought a white baguette, but tomorrow I will go to my favourite shop and get a wholemeal loaf. 🙂

I think the HUGE danger of this whole idea of the 'enemy' is that we start choosing who we think are the evil ones and fall into the danger of using our notion of the enemy to label certain types of people as 'evil'... simply because we dont agree with or understand them. I found her comment about 'Ibiza' slightly concerning from that perspective .. we shouldn't set ourselves up as being superior enough to judge others and set ourselves above them, including other forms of faith .. because we can end up with a religion that is simply about being in a club favoring our personal preferences, and putting their faiths down . We ALL have different ideas about where the enemy is and what we fear, and mostly we forget that we have to sort out the enemy in our OWN SELVES first before we judge or demonise others by externalising the 'enemy' . this is the same in terms of our opinion of other faiths .. like he said in a previous session, God speaks to people in the way they can hear. For some they hear through a song, or through being in nature, its not always through the Bible, the whole of Creation is an expression of God's word
