Just went on the Beyond, gotta say of all the ships in the celebrity fleet it was the best. Also the 4 ‘free’ restaurants are very good.
I was there on that cruise with you guys! I was just showing my family the ship and I came across your review of the Beyond! You captured the back of my son at 28:59 sitting by the pool during the crew vs guest volleyball game. Haha! It did get intense! So fun! My husband said he recognized you guys from our pool days. Had I recognized you I would have thanked you for all of the videos that I watched prior to our Euro 2022 trip!

Yes Sicily is amazing and as you love Italy consider next time a Sicily island vacation (you will need almost 10/15 days): art, history, cities, archeology, food and everything you can image is a dream ♥

Awesome video! The cruise ship looked beautiful. Question, could you feel the boat moving? Like could someone get seasick?
It definitely depends if you easily get seasick. I would say only one night we could feel a slight pull, but otherwise, you don't feel a thing!
We are going on the Beyond next April with an infinite veranda room. Just wondering if there are curtains to cover the window? My husband likes to take an afternoon nap.

What camera do you use?? It's great quality!
We have been on the same cruise. The Celebrity Beyond is stunning. And on this cruise it was so easy to do all the excursions on our own: Marseille, Nice, Portofino, Florence, Pisa, Messina and Taormina, Capri and Naples and after the cruise we spend 3 days in Rome. Public transport in all ports of call is reliable ans easy accessible. So there is no need for exhausting pre-booked excursions, you can do it on your own pace. Our favourite spots on the ship: The plunge pool, Rooftop Garden and the Thermal Spa. And speaking about the restaurants: In fact all the restaurants onboard are fantastic. Personally we loved the Blu Restaurant , the Eden Restaurant, the Rooftop Garden and the Raw on 5. But even the four standard restaurants were absolutely great. We were on Aqua Class and our stateroom was just like yours. I had just a little issue with the storage space in the stateroom. We have been on cruise ships offering much more closet space in similar sized staterooms. But that is just a "small flaw". The crew, the ship, everything was close to perfection. We enjoyed every minute on board the Celebrity Beyond. But yes, we also would have enjoyed at least one more sea day.

I hope the following informations will be helpful for You:
Marseille: We decided to visit Marseille. We haven't been to Marseille in many years but knew, that it has changed for good over the last years. And yes, it is definitely worth going there. Celebrity offers Shuttle Bus, that starts at the pier a takes You all the way to a Bus Stop next to "Les Terrasse" shopping mall. From there it is a nice walk to the old Port (vieux port). or a short metro or bus ride. Although we are usually not up to this kind of thing, on recommendation we took the "sightseeing train" and didn't regret it. It takes You along the coast and then up to Notre Dame de la Garde (amazing !). You can get off there, There is a train going back every 20 minutes. If You wanna go to Aix-en-Provence and/or Provence on Your own I recommend to take a Rental Car ( we did this in 2017).
Villefranche: The train station is only 10 minutes away from the tenderboat pier. From there You can take the Regional Train that takes You to either Nice or even to Monaco or Eze. The train runs every 30 minutes. But don't miss to stroll along the roads of beautiful Villefranche.
Santa Margherita: To Portofino take the boat (as Dana did). If You wanna go to Cinque Terre there is a regular train (direction La Spezia or Levanto) which stops at the villages of 5 Terre and runs every 15 - 30 minutes.
Livorno: There is a free shuttle bus to the centre of Livorno, There You can take the bus to the central station (Tickets available at every Tabacchi Shop). From Livorno there are regular trains (every 15-30 minutes) to Pisa and Florence. On the first day we went to Florence (1.15 h train ride) on the second day to Pisa (10 minutes).
Messina: You can take the train from the main station to Taormina-Giardini and from there a bus up to Taormina.
Naples: Naples is worth a visit. Absolutely beautiful. And a good way to get an overview is taking a hop-on hop-off bus. If you decide to go to either Capri, Ischia or Sorrento there are ferry boats which run on a regular base from the Molo Beverello (next to the cruise terminal). Or if you wanna go to Pompei there is the Reginal Train from Napoli Centrale to Pompei (Direction Salerno).
Trains, both in France and Italy, are resonably priced and absolutely reliable. I recommend the App by Trenitalia to get informations on departure times and bookings.

Okay, I hope you see this!! Going on this same trip…solo! What tips are absolute must knows?!? Does every port have a free shuttle? Do you think the premium drink package is worth it?!
If you like cocktails and top shelf the premium is worth it! You can have the specialty cocktails at all the bars on board. In port, you can explore on your own- depending on where there's usually a free shuttle to town as the terminal might be far from the town center!

Hi, thank you for the video, in each city that ship stay does it have a bus or shuttle free to visit the city by yourself? Do you recommend that we take the tour from the ship or book online websites with a better price?
They usually have a free bus shuttle or boat tender to the main town. You can definitely get a more affordable price if you book a tour on your own

I would recommend the shore excursions with the exception of Portfofino because it’s so small.

You must get a C*vid test before you board. Depending on your Vxination status, testing may be needed 24 or 48 hours in advance, but they will give you the details!

Looking at Mediterranean cruises now for this ship for Greece and Croatia. Just got back from Greece last week and looking to add on a cruise for next year! Oh btw, those ship horns you mentioned eariler in the video - that's one of the Disney ships playing "When You Wish Upon a Star." 😉

I have a few questions: Is there a gym on the Beyond? Jogging track? Does your phone work on board at sea? How is internet service in your state room? Is there an extra charge for on-line services?
Hey, yes there was a gorgeous fitness center, and fitness classes and a jogging track. i would recommend getting the premium wifi to have the best connection throughout the whole ship. Otherwise there is a slower internet at sea.
