We love Del Webb homes. Owned one for 16 years. Understand the pricing v quality product. We wish we could afford one of these for our retirement 😢 😔 especially with monthly add ons. Out of reach for sure. Serious pricing issues

Mount Dora = World capital of Aquatic Midges and all over the outside of your home as well.
Most of the homes are almost half a million dollars.. If you sell your house in the North East or West Coast these houses look cheap... My friends who moved to the Villages are beginning to complain about the fees increasing because the villages use the government inflation data to automatically increase fees. I think that is something that needs to be analyzed throughly the cost of yearly ownership in these over 55 developments and HOA fees .
We live in The Villages, bought in 2014 and our amenities were $145 a month, today they are $185 a month. Thats a $5 a year average increase.
For all of the amenities we have including 107 pools, 235 pickleball courts, over 700 holes of golf, 108 Recreation Centers, nightly music in 3 town squares, and over 3000 lifestyle clubs.......that's a fantastic price to pay.
Home prices soared the last 2 years in central Florida but they have started to level off. Owning a home and living an hour from Disney and 90 minutes from either coast comes with a price.
So I suppose there are lot premiums in addition to the prices shown... how much? ...are they simular?

In Sunbridge you can add between 20k - 190k for the lot alone depending on which you choose. The average seemed to be around 30k
