We were "upgraded" to Grand Deluxe Kamogawa, Larger Guest room, 1 King, River view valued $1,550 with a Platinum member. Original value: $1,400. I made a reservation with Free Night Rewards(85,000 points).
Hotel Review
The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto, the first luxury urban resort in Japan, sits on the banks of the Kamogawa River, with sweeping views of the famous Higashiyama mountains. This Kyoto, Japan hotel resort features 134 guest rooms with traditional Japanese motifs, four restaurants and bars including modern Japanese cuisine and a spa for the ultimate rejuvenation.
Steeped in history and honed by five-star luxury and service, The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto expresses the culture of Kyoto, Japan in a language of thoughtful details. This begins upon arrival at the hotel, when check-in is conducted over traditional Japanese tea. 와~~ 정말 일본에 왔다는 느낌이 딱 드는 너무 고즈넉하고 예쁜 호텔이네요~~~ 룸 내부 용품들도 너무 다 이뻐요!!! 특히 와인잔 너무 이뻐서 갖고싶네유 ㅎㅎ

크~~ 정말 일본스러운 고급미가 뿜뿜한 호텔이네요~~~ 로비부터 룸까지 작은것 하나하나 신경쓴듯한 인테리어가 너무 멋집니다!!! 특히 정원이 정말 이쁘네요~~저도 꼭 한번 가보고 싶은 호텔로 저장입니당 ㅎㅎ😊
