The kids in your neighborhood don't even know what you've got in the works for them. They're gonna love it!
Awesome! Looks great! We are getting so close!
great job !! looking awesome already !!
Chris's man cave is coming together good lol.... you guys have a winter?? now that is funny lol.. looks awesome
Looking awesome! So come Halloween time, all you need are some saloon girls that were known back then as "soiled doves" and also called "hells belles"....lol. Can't wait to try and get a drink in that saloon!!
Looks awesome!!
Rockin and rollin'! Go Hollywood Haunter!
looks amazing as usual ...... I wish I had a Neo Angle saloon to visit lol
jeana, you're just going to have to trample your plants & flowers so that we can get a better look at the back of that thing...hehehe...it looks really amazing, guys!...i'm uber impressed with your skills, as usual!...:D
WOW to cool that was so fast!! Great work you can tell how much the 1st Ghost Town helped this one you 2 are just putting it together Awesome!! What's name ? Dead end Saloon or end of the beginning . I hear they have the best spirits in town on bones about it. ha ha sorry I have to much time on hand!!!
LOL! You are too cute! Love those names. We actually will be announcing the name in the next video, I think you'll like it :)
Wow, looks awesome! Lots of hard work but it's worth it in the end :)
Our house is made of red brick which just sucks up any lights we try to use on the house. So the yard looks good, but the house just disappears. We want to build a light colored, dilapidated Carpenter Gothic facade. That style uses board and batten siding just like you guys are using. I probably do not have time to build everything I need, so I will focus on just one part of the house this year and add more next year.
Thanks so much! :)
LOL! Thanks buddy!
Thank you!
Looking good, really coming along.
looks great guys coming along fast i need to get my ass moving !!!
Thank you! :)
Heck yes you can have a drink in our saloon anytime, right now we have water. But come October we should be fully stocked LOL!
You guys rock! Thank you so much for showing the details of the build. Now I'm super excited to get started building my own facade!
You guys are so industrious! It's Awesome! Like the bracing info. Thanks!
Looks great. I ahree with Deoblo, gotta get moving. 100 day til the big show.
You 2 are awesome! I love watching your builds ... always informative & entertaining. Thanks!
Excellent! I hadden't considered the white paint, thank you very much. I send you a pix of the finished product along with a couple of tickets to the show. Bless Ya!
you guys are moving along so fast!
it's looking good... I'm amazed at the size and the amount of work that is going into this... very impressive.
thanks for sharing!
That's a lot a progress in a short amount of time. Do you guys ever sleep??? Lol looks great!!!!
OH and First !!!!
LOL! I know I wish I could say the same hehehe :)
We round up our wood from left over projects and past jobs most of the time but also from freebies and purchasing from hardware stores of course. We also recycle materials from the previous years haunt decor.
You guys must have a pretty good size lot to display such large props and store them. I am jealous. Is your display listed publicly for people to go and see during the Halloween season? I can’t put up my display this year so I am hoping to travel around the SoCal area to see some displays. There is a place in Villa Park that does a great Halloween and Christmas decorations every year that I live near. Hoping to see some other great displays around the area this year.
You two are killin' it! Where do you get your energy? Having two people work together looks like it would be so much fun and wow...do you really get a lot done. Thank you for showing how you put the walls together! Great video as always!!!
I'm gonna ask the neighbor if I can get on his roof for a better shot ;)
Excellent are y'all going to use the balcony as a scare platform?
YAY!!! What is your theme?
Love your videos, very informative keep up the hard work. My wife and are wanting to produce a western play. We will have to build our own props and sets on a 33' by 15' stage. I thought about grabbing some 4' by 8' cardboard move posters from theaters and painting them with black primer then projecting pictures of western images and painting them accordingly. Do you think this idea will work? Thank you for your input. Steve & Cindy
Thank you so much for the kind words. Sounds like a fun project you two are starting. I think your idea could work but wondered if you should use a white primer instead so you guys may see the lines and images projected a little easier than if it was on a black back ground. You can then paint all the outlined areas of the town black so it blends back into the stage. A nice black and white image or cartoon drawings of old western towns should project nicely and give you your outlines. You have a great idea and we wish you the best of luck with your project. We would love to see your finished western town. Thanks again for writing, Chris and Jeana
Just think if you had to buy all that lumber today....
Ouch!
Where do you get most of your wood from?
Silly question but how true are these construction methods to the original construction methods of the time? I know some aren't traditional but yeah...
Would you know of any life size cardboard sets we would just slide on and off stage. Does anybody make any?
You know we have been asked this question before and have never seen anything like that. I would talk to an appliance store and see if they couldn't donate some of their large cardboard boxes to you.
Thanks Sexy Mama! - Gina ;)
Looks great!
awesome stuff had no idea that will be in your yard !!! I was thinking a park or some place hahah ! That is so cool. Damn I have never built 1 prop ! and you guys build these huge movie style props !! so cool. Great work, it honestly is really great
