No better way to start a Friday than with a DISASTER detail!! I’m still shook with how many miles were on that vehicle 🤣
Have a great weekend everyone!
Have a great weekend Mitch!
Always clean. Impressive. That’s need long time to do it. Well done.
What vacuum do you use? It works so well it seems. I didn’t see the link in the description!
By the power of Lord Mike 🤴 of A Square Foot of Land in Scotland, I officially dub our previously known day of the week, Friday, as Freaky Filthy Friday - starring The Detail Geek. 🦸♂️
@@Jennifer_MB Your proclamation is endorsed fully by the DG squad of devoted fans. "lord Mike" always cracks me up.
I would pay big money to hear Mitch’s internal monologue when customers drop off and pick up their vehicles.
Narrated by Morgan Freeman of course

"Oh, no need to feel embarrassed, this isn't even the worst I've seen, hahaha!"
*"It was, in fact, the worst he'd seen."*
I would pay big money to hear Mitch’s internal monologue when customers drop off and pick up their vehicles.
He is such a nice guy, kind and polite to everyone and their cars!
I don't understand how anyone can let their cars get this dirty! I go insane when I get any sand or dirt on my floor mats..much less food or garbage! I cherish the money I spent on my vehicle too much to let it get that disgusting! Great job as always! I could watch your videos all day!
I go insane when I see dust or pollen on my car after washing it the week before
Yup. With you all. My car is always spotless.
People are like pigs... unfortunate...No offence to the pigs
@@whitegoodman7465 same!
Mine too. It’s a large investment so it needs to be taken care of
I’m always floored at how much of a difference there is after just a vacuuming!
I was completely unaware that I could ever feel sorry for a vacuum before. Is the owner part sasquatch? 🤣 Excellent detail video again.
😂😂😂
That's not dirt, that's personality.
If it’s in that means ( hopefully) they didn’t throw it out the window. Their personality might be messy but not selfish .High end cars go by here leaving trash on the roadside all the time bet those cars are pristine inside
Preach!
That'a not dirt, that's personality.
@@Theunicorn2012That’s not dirt, that’s personality.
Looks like dirt to me
Gosh, it looked like a kid had exploded in there - hair, snack crumbs, mysterious sticky stains and all! Really impressed at how well the carpet came up given how soiled it was. Not surprised it took 15 hours! Another fantastic job Mitch.
Maybe exploded isn’t the word to use
I think that the lease was up and it was cheaper to get a full detail than what the dealer would charge if they saw that mess. I just feel bad for the next person who buys this car. Hopefully they will never see that video.
@@kareembaba7498😂😂😂😭 yeah
if a kid exploded in there, then those mysterious sticky stains are probably brain matter
15 hrs @ $reasonable shop rate = Not getting much change from $1000 (or more)
I would be too ashamed to ask someone else to clean up that kind of filth. You totally have my respect and admiration for what you are willing to do for your customers. Lucky they have you. Great job like always!!!💜💜💜💜
I valet park cars! And I valet cars that look like that all the time and some times worst
@@USBCablez You have my sincerest and deepest sympathy. I may drive an old model car that is paid for but the darn thing is clean and it stays that way!!!!
The fact you have shame means your car would never get like this.
@@joerez5172 I drive a 1999 Citroen Saxo (I live in Belgium) and it has 137,000 km on it and I have owned it since I moved here in 2015 and no it has NEVER looked like that, smelled like that or anything closely resembling it. I am sure you do the same. You take care of what you own.
@@graceparker7003 this has motivated me to get my children involved in cleaning my cars. I don't ever want to have the excuse of being to busy to clean my cars. If I get busy I will have them do it.
I’ve been watching your videos for years. It has been incredibly cool to watch how your business has remained as amazing as when you started, but you present yourself much more like a content creator now. Thanks for the years of satisfying cleans!
Wow! That was gross, why do people let their car get this bad? It's great that you are able to save these cars. Absolutely Smashed It, Mitch!
I don't know how he does it. I detailed my VW Atlas today and not even remotely close of being this messy. Took 5 hours and I was exhausted.
@@bmw803 In past videos he has mentioned it a job being a "10 hour detail"
my mother's explorers have always been rough. at least one ton of dirt could be extracted from the floors of all those explorers.
85k miles in 2 years basically means you live in the car and travel full-time for work. Probably just not a lot of time to destress and actually clean your shit.
I’ve seen way worse in my experience as a detailer…this is a average dirty car. At most would take 2-3 hours for the interior due to the dirt and crumbs being loose and most of it needs a quick vac and that’s it. The plastics aren’t bad either.
I think they need a bin more than a detail
Car is the bin
Its really not hard to grab a plastic bag from the drawer and use it as a bin.. everytime i see this, i still get confused on how this comes to what it is
@@mayam1141correct for them I imagine
definitely need one to throw away their horrible laziness
They need the self awareness to not be absolute slobs and ignore something they paid $50,000 for😂😂 some people just weren’t raised knowing how to clean themselves or their surroundings
I don't comment on every video, but how you turn these cars into "brand-new" is really astonishing, great job!!
Thank you!
Hey Mitch, i'm a long time subscriber and fan of your work. I recently started what I'm hoping will be a career in detailing for a Dealership owned by a young guy also named Mitch LOL. I went ahead and joined your membership for those behind the scenes and of course Mike updates, but also to reach out and say thanks for all the content you share with us. I come home each day and spend a bit of time watching your videos and rewatching my favorites like the shop videos and quick fixes learning more each time and adding some tips and tricks to my collection I use at work everyday. I see things you do differently and usually end up trying them out for myself and finding more efficient ways to tackle new untis coming in everyday. Thanks again for the content, loving it so far, keep up the good work!!
Thanks Zach!
What a hell of a detail!! I called it!! I said it was going to be a 15-hour detail!! Mitch delivers like always!!
I said 17. So close.
The quality of the carpet actually seems pretty good for everything picking up so easily. Such a remarkable job Mitch! You never cease to amaze me. Enjoying the video during breakfast so an extra treat. Take care man! ❤
I like when the detail length is identified. Then I don't have unrealistic expectations for myself.
I wouldn't even want anybody to EVER get in my car again after this detail lol
This was a relaxing video, seeing all the dirt get blasted off and vacuumed up. I especially needed that today, when work has been so stressful lately. Thanks for another great video to start my Friday on! 👍
Nice video. Mitch
Mitch always does the best job detailing any car. You never know what’s going on that someone can’t clean their car or get it to a detailer, but he never judges them! Wish I lived in Canada so he could get my truck detailed.
😲😲 what a difference even after just vacuuming carpets. Cannot believe the amount of hair - hope it is kept clean now. Great job👍🏼
It won't be kept clean. They will trash it quickly.
@@jeanetteshawredden5643 or sell it.
😢 its sad that people treat their vehicles this way especially after you spent so much money on them.
Great clean up
Key word. "their". It's sad that people feel so concerned about how others treat something they do not own or pay for. JUST SAYING.....
I would say they’re pigs, but that’s an insult to pigs.
Might I suggest a cyclone separator between your vacuum and the vehicle. There are a bunch of simple and cheap ones sold both online and in stores like Home Depot. Effectively they use centrifical force to dump all of the debris both small and large into a bucket while permitting mostly clean air to return to the vacuum itself effectively eliminating the job of having to clean out the vacuum itself and you can continue cleaning with almost no loss in performance regardless of the size of debris.
My favorite part of these videos (aside from all the meticulous hard work put in) is how it can go from looking like it belongs in a junkyard to looking like a car commercial. Got me thinking maybe I need to buy a new explorer 🤔 😂 Happy Friday Detail Geek! Keep up the amazing work💜
People have no shame. How can you live with something like that every day
Kids...mainly Kids...
@@dune4433 No, no and no. Kids behave as you teach them. If you are a good parent you make them clean their mess. That is called bringing them up correctly and making them responsable adults in the future.
@histriamagna1014 HAHA, how do you get a 1 year old to not make a mess? You obviously don't have kids. You can teach them as they get older, but they WILL make messes.
@@dune4433 I have kids. I'm a 51 yrs old father. You can prevent things to happen in first place by taking care of what kids have at their reach. And when they are old enough by showing them how to clean.
People with kids don't have time. Eventually it gets away from you. This coming from a 34 year veteran of detailing.
Your videos make me so positive sometimes and motivates me when I feel strange.Probably it's the song along with your detail that you put.Keep up the good work that you.I owe you so much.Probably I should stop skipping ads during your videos.😊
You are a magician Mitch every car looks like new again no one on CZcams can do this better than you you are the best!!
actually given your description at the beginning, I would thought it would be worse
From a sticky mess of a car to a clean, shining, beautiful, blue car. WOW!!!!! Great work, Mitch. Have a great weekend.
You inspire me so much I'm so glad to have discovered your channel 4 years ago
I'm surprised on the carpet quality how easily that hair came up. In my Fiesta if I get any hair at all on any of the carpet a lilly brush is the only way it's coming out. I kinda expected to see a similar situation since it's also a Ford.
Great job unstickying Mitch, you made it look beautiful again. I love that color too. take care!
Its fantastic seeing these detail videos! You never disappoint man!
Your service is really perfect!Just no short sleeves when dealing with such a dirthy cars, for your safety.Congratulations from Romania,Europa!
This was a very well done detail and an excellently produced video. Awesome job team AF!
at the 4:50 mark, he's essentially asking for help to feed his ever so ravenous brother Mike 😂
Impressed by the amount of miles. I get about 23-25k a year personally because I have a long commute plus a lot of travel for my side business as well.
Though i will NEVER understand why or HOW ppl let their vehicles get like this i will say im glad they do. It keeps you in business and allows for us to enjoy your friday uploads 🙌👍🫶
Another great detail ❤
I have been watching your channel for years. I have been detailing my Colorado and
have worked for detailers because it’s just so relaxing and the before and after is amazing. I love your content so much. You have come such a long way too.
That blue is fire, now that it’s clean. Another great job. 👍🏼
Mitch, thank you for the content you put up, you along with some other detailers have helped me get some amazing results when cleaning mine, my wife's and friends cars, my latest was my wife's old 2010 Renault Clio mk3 which we're going to list for sale, the interior looks absolutely spotless (wasn't near as bad as most of the cars you do) and the outside is getting done today to get it listed for sale, hoping to get a bit more for it with it being so clean 😁
Hey, Mitch! I have a few questions:
1) Is it okay to spray cleaners directly onto the speakers like that? Would it be safer to spray it directly onto the cloth and wipe it down? @13:36
2) Do you get the roof of the vehicles? If so, how?
3) How do you clean the inside of the windshield?
4) How do you do this everyday? This doesn't hurt your back?
Much love from Pittsburgh!
All that water and steam inside the cars' controls and speakers would definitely cause damage on the long run.
@@Amr-ep3vl that's what I thought too. I would probably ask to not have anything sprayed into the speakers, especially since higher trims have some pretty nice speakers now days!
Quite the task and beautifuly done. It does indeed look brand new at the end. I didn't skip any part of this video. Kudos for another successful job. If it wasn't raining here today, I would be inspired to detail and clean my own car.
I've done 65k miles in the past 2 1/2 years lol. but my truck gets cleaned at least every other week
Great job Mitch, there are so many things/details that you do off camera that I'm not surprised at how long it took. I worked as a detailer in the good old days and it would take me a whole day to prepare a new car for the showroom, the cars had a coating all over to prevent rust during sea freight, we used kerosene to remove it before washing and polishing with inferior products to what you have. It was a hell of a job. Glad you have a superior workplace and cleaning products, cheers!!!🥰💕👍👍💪
Happy Friday Glad you got the whole interior and exterior washed cleaned and detailed great job
I think you should show what it looks like when you empty vacuum just like when you do the extractor bucket. I find that just as satisfying
Yes please Mitch. I've been asking this for a good while now. I second 👍🤘🤞
Hey Mitch,
The vehicle thanks you kindly!!! 😍🔥💯

2021?! It looks like it hadn't been cleaned in over a decade! I thought I let my car get dirty, and my car is 24 years old (bought used), but wow. I get depressed and that's why my car gets a little bit cluttered. I can't imagine ever letting it get to a state like this! That transformation though, perfection.
Great work as always Mitch👏I always enjoy this kind of detail I keep going back to old episodes cuz I enjoy the van details lol have a great weekend onto the next 😂
I can't go more than 2 weeks without washing and cleaning my car, let alone 3 years! That's insane.
what is most appreciative, is that well you state that some cars are really disgustingly filthy, but always in a cheerful tone, like lets fix this to new... good content.
These video are always so satisfying but seeing you do the vehicle I drive made this one extra awesome
Great content as always! At 9 minutes in I wondered where the Lillybrush was but shortly after you must have read my mind!
Thanks Mitch!👊 WOW 😳that was really nasty 🤢🤮🤢 Amazing job my friend, stay safe and take care 🙏

Mr. Geek has done it again! One of these days I expect to see you in a full biohazard suit. I'm far from being a neat freak, but if someone is willing to let their cars get that bad, I can't help but wonder what kind of disaster is their house, or even their personal hygiene! 😱😵 And in other videos people bringing their cars to a detailer without removing their personal things first... including large garbage? How time consuming and effort encompassing is it to grab handfuls of garbage to toss? ...not to mention unmentionables (tampons, etc.)... Good gracious, people are nasty! 🤮🤣
Hi Mitch 😊 have a wonderful weekend thanks for another great video and keep wearing them sweat pants ❤
As somebody whose detailed Fords for a while I will say newer style Explorers have some nice carpet. As you mentioned the hair doesn’t really stick to it and gets easily sucked up by the vacuum. Kinda nice for a change haha
