Loved the final result. And your dog is precious, especially when he/she lay on the rug, that was so cute.
Also, don't add the sliding doors. You're right, it will make the room smaller. I think you can add transparent doors to the individual closets, or make the doors white and hang art pieces on them.

Good husband- way to go. Great call putting the top on lower than all the way up instead of trying to figure out a block on top for the crown molding. Also loved using the handheld vacuum when drilling- I’ve always just used a piece of paper but your way makes more sense
That's amazing, definitely a dressing room. I would however add sliding doors or even a heavy white curtain as a "door" so you don't stare at clothes all the time. Amazing transformation though.
As expected, this turned out fantastic. I really love how it turned out. It motivates me to do something similar to this in my master bedroom. The fact that you include a total breakdown of the materials used is great. If I may ask, what is your profession because your remodel/house projects turn out awesome.
He did all of that by himself With lighting AND without damaging the floor 🤯🤯🤯 Impressive.
You could use hanging/sliding barn doors. That wouldn't take away from the bedroom. Also use woven baskets up top.

You should definitely add a sliding door or translucent glass opening entry.

Great job! Very inspiring. We are in the midst of doing virtually the exact same thing. The only problem is that we gutted the old space and THEN learned that most of this stuff is not currently available at IKEA due to supply issues. Drove two states away just to get a couple of their last largest cabinets, some of which I'll have to cut down to make narrower, and then pray we can eventually get the rest of the internal pieces. But after I paint this weekend and get my new flooring in, I'll be doing everything you just showed. 🙂 Thanks so much!

Yes doors or something on the cabinets, he did so much work and it turned out great! Now would be the time where he knows how to fine tune it to make it even better and he had some rest now back to work hahah! Your wife must be very happy you are so handy !!

it turned out very good! You could add some led lighting to the shelves, they would look more high end. Also i would suggest to check for french doors with glass :)

Inspired by a shot in your video around 13 min 14sec in, I would add glass doors (Ikea has these) but I would add a very dark grey black film to the inside of the glass, to make it more chic and custom :) Thanks for the vid, very helpful!

I love it the way it is do not change it like you said if you add those doors to the make the room look smaller but leaving it open like that in free it makes it looks bigger and it'll help you keep the room picked up in clean I just did a walk in closet where I took another bedroom and got rid of everything and then I had everything but you just did I had it all put into the room and did not have space for storage up above and little square boxes to put a things in and then I have a cabinet because I'm going to redo my bathroom I'm going to lose the linen closet so I had a 3 shelf cabinet put in so I can put towels and linens in there so that cost me about $4,000 but all of the measuring in The Cutting that you did I am not trusting myself to do that so that's why I just went on and paid the money by closet by Design and just let them just do everything and I tell them told them what I want and they did it and I'm very happy with my room thank you you did a very good job I wished I knew hue

Your closet turned out beautiful. Did you do anything to hide the seams between the cabinets?
Most of the frames sealed tight after leg alignment, but I used white caulk in 2 areas to hide a small gap

Put doors on the cabinets. That way the entire space is bigger. 'Open concept' bedroom.
