Hatchling diamond dove. Hand fed this little girl from hatch. Also incubated her egg. Yes she survived, surprised me with her first egg the other day 😉
My diamonds just laid thier first egg. What did you use to feed the baby with incase the parents don’t work out. I know they usually will but I want to be prepared. I want to hand tame one of the babies anyhow. I have raised several pigeons from day one and a few ringneck doves from four days on. But a baby this small is way different.
@@jaykymm3062 you can use a zip lock bag but I used a syringe upside down without the plunger. I wrapped the end with plastic wrap and poked a small hole for the beak to go in
