- California Winter Storm: Atmospheric river returning with heavy rain, snow, wind
A major storm will strike Northern California Wednesday, bringing similar conditions that caused flooding in the southern Sacramento Valley over New Year's weekend.
Best weather forecasters around although all of them on all the stations have been great walking/warning us throughout these days. Thanks so much!
Most caring weather man ever!!! 🙏💞 🐶🐱🐦🐩🐕
I don't know which market this broadcast serves, but this was better than all of the local Bay Area stations' coverage of the arriving storm. Thank you for all of the helpful information.
I moved to the Valley from the East coast around 20 yrs ago. The weather coverage in this area really stood out. I was impressed at how they covered other regions and events elsewhere. Also, they would have a lot of instructional information. Collectively they were the catalyst for my interests in meteorology and earth sciences.
🍀✌️😎
It appears to be the Sacramento market given the channel and broadcasting station.
Rain, rain and more rain is a Blessing in the Western USA.
Hopefully the rains will continue long enough to replenish their revisors so the farmers can resume normal food production to bring food prices down.
The droughts have been causing excessively high inflation.
Best weatherman ever!!!!!!!!!!!!
He never does mention climate change
Thank you for your concern , and care, Sir!
You did an excellent job delivering this weather forecast. I have never seen a weather forecast given as you did. I don't know your name, but you are the best weatherman I have seen in a long time! 👏😄
I agree!
And I been praying for rain for California last 6 months..TY LORD...you can take a break now😉
Great job in forecasting this winter storm ~ Explicit and knowledgeable info is always a plus - Thanks!!
Could you please place some foothill cities on your wind and other maps to allow us to figure out how things are going to impact locations.
Excellent weather forecaster!
Awesome job reporting the weather, thank you.
Just trying to be safe fellas, God bless you all.🙏.
Well done!!! Thank you!
I’m terrified for that storm
I’m gonna go ahead and second that.
Fear God only. Praise Him for a beautiful storm
if the sacramento or american river levees break it would be catastrophic
@@Raptor-7 i hope your home gets flooded
@@mikedunning3325 I’m not
Lots of storms and rain in the UK as well but that's normal for us this time of year.
Same here in WA
whatever . it’s not normal to have two bomb cyclones within a week .
It’s Climate Change
This evening I received a call from SMUD warning about the storms and 60 mph winds coming that will possibly knock out the power.
Next you notice, come summer and suddenly CA still in a severe drought.
Yep everything will be a catastrophe and due to climate change. Just last winter there was snow in the mountains clear into June in California and spring weather in July up in the mountains and they had cal trans signs out saying severe drought.
If Nick Fuentes was a normal person who pursued a career in meteorology
GOD is redeeming the prayers of Californians for an end to the draught.....
By sending trees into their living room.🙏
As always great breakdown 🔥🔥🔥
I'm up here North of Sacramento in the mountains, and the 60 mph winds are a common occurrence along the Oregon coast during the Summer. Astoria had a 70-75 mph wind storm back around 1990. But happy to see out neighbors to the South are getting the precip they need so we don't always hear news stories that Calif is burning up again. But you need snow in the mountains more than rain. Hopefully you can get a lot of that from this next system.
Oh, so it's normal? Like in Buffalo? Two bomb cyclones in one week?
They are getting that snow lol
What are the chances of a flood as the great flooding of 1892 in Sacramento we need more details if it’s life threatening we need to know before it’s too long late

Please include Humboldt County in your weather analysis.
This is really a bit terrifying given 99 was underwater and thousands were without power just recently. So it’s one storm on top of another. That’s terrifying
Rain in the Sacramento valley? Get right out of town..
This isn't storm this is a cyclone for the next 11 days. Like a hurricane.
@@chrisvaldez952 😆
@@yodaphyomni3749 look up atmospheric river
"It's normal this time of year".
This guy is a pro
Are the Ski resorts open this week?
Yes, for water skiing!
I'm supposing that with those warm temperatures, it will rain in the mountains.
I live right in the path of these storms but strange as it is they usually break up go around this town like right now..we are seeing some wind and kinda spitting rain and snowing heavy everywhere else
Hope you guys save that water for a rainy day
Does anyone know if there are any live cams in the SF / Oakland / Pleasanton / Livermore areas?
My biggest interest is Pleasanton but also the region.
I hope all those tents the middle class Californians live in are waterproof.
ALWAYS BE PREPARED. this shtf scenario
South EAST to North WEST!
Bruh who’s naming these storms🤣 PINEAPPLE EXPRESS 🤣😭
Well we do need the water, just hope all humans and animals are ok .
🚣♂️🏊♀️🏊♂️🚣♀️....we need the water 💧
CA needs that rain and mountain snow. Don’t wanna see more climate refugees here in WA
Why it raining so much in California
Because the state is in the midst of a severe drought. That’s why, to me.
@9 min is important
We should be seeing more earthquakes too. 😮
Our weather in the West is controlled by drying salt lakes, there is Laguna salada salten sea that was an accident. and the great Utah lake it's evaporating that's where your weather is coming from we can control the weather if they fill up Laguna salada and let it evaporate it goes straight to the Sierras North Tulare county will be a lake again the whole Central valley
It's the first time this guy's ever seen anything wet.
Yo it’s a hurricane
Oh my goodness this Is terrible
Nice! Give CA some real life to deal with and not the woke nonsense they live! Good Luck!
Stay alert, be cautious and be safe everyone! We will make it through safely. Although there will be huge clean up after the storm! ☀️
Homeless people's 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩 everywhere!
Bomb cyclone in Buffalo. Bomb cyclone in Northern California a week later. Warm winter in Europe. Should be an interesting summer...
But California is always in a drought. Can't wait to leave this dump.
but .. but .. but: the 1000 year DROUGHT. The hoax of the 1000 year DROUGHT. but ... but .. but .. the 1000 year drought
????
Actually, this drought started around February of 2020 so it's going ino the 3rd year probs
There has been a drought.
Agreed! It was the wettest drought ever just last year with snow in the mountains staying clear into June and if it cant be that it will be another catastrophe due to ……climate change.
@@Tw3akyGam3r Granted they have been saying this is a 100 year drought for California -- all last summer. But I sneeringly said 1000 year to emphasize the science HOAX.
Atmospheric river, you got to be 💩💩💩 ing me, in Washington we call it RAIN!
Nonsense dude 🤐
Atmosperic rivers, bomb cyclones ---- the weather people have invented weather hype.
Don't worry, they'll come up with a new one that'll scare your socks off one of these days.
This is different than your usual regular winter storms out of the Gulf of Alaska. They're all rain, but these lines of storm after storm of heavy rain for weeks out into the Pacific isn't like the PNW typical winter storm pattern.
@@jeffmorse645 you are correct sir
Atmospheric River. Perfect storms. Artic vortexes.
These terms turn weather into a cartoon. Bye
Atmospheric river and arctic vortexes are scientific and well used terms inside the climatological and meteorological fields.
If you can’t handle information more advanced than “rain make me wet!” Then good riddance.
I know, right? Who came up with the words rain and snow? The terminology! How dare they! We should just communicate by making one universal sound, and no one will ever have to speak again. *Rolls eyes*
