"Endless Love" is a song written by Lionel Richie and originally recorded as a duet between Richie and fellow R&B singer Diana Ross. In this ballad, the singers declare their "endless love" for one another. It was covered by R&B singer Luther Vandross with fellow R&B singer Mariah Carey and also by country music singer Shania Twain. Richie's friend (and sometimes co-worker) Kenny Rogers has also recorded the song. Billboard has named the original version as the greatest song duet of all-time.

This song came out in the year I gave my life to Christ. An expression of His Endless Grace and Love for me. I played it over and over in tears when buying my Father that next year. Now having lost my Sister whom introduced this great woman to me, I play this song in honor of her Memory. These are my Endless Loving Memories! Sweet Sleep!

She sang this song with Lionel Richie at a award show and she was absolutely amazing.Saw her at Steel Pier in Atlantic City with the Supremes in 1966. Had all the Supremes 45's. Just amazing
That's the year I started working at the Steel Pier.. I worked at a hot dog, popcorn and pizza stand. It was the last concession stand on the way to the Ballroom. I was the one who made the pizza's. I was fortunate to not only make the pizza's but made a pie and delivered it to The Supreme's dressing room and met Diana Ross and The Supremes, however back in 1966 the group was called The Supremes.
I can’t imagine the thrill you must of felt seeing her perform in person! Such a beautiful woman and her voice is absolutely amazing!

I go way back with Diana Ross. In 1966, one of my first jobs was working at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, N.J. I worked at this stand down from Tony Grants Theater. When you came out of the Tony Grants Theater, you had to go past my stand on the way to the ballroom where the Ed Hurst show and to see the Diving Horse. The stand that I worked at sold hot dogs,popcorn and pizza. Guess what, I made the pizza. Didn't throw the dough up in the air like the old school guys. We had frozen pizza shells so all I had to do was to put sauce and cheese on it and put it in the oven. I made pizza for the entertainers that performed at the Steel Pier and The Supremes were one of the groups that I made my special pizza for and took it to their dressing room. That was the first time that I met Diana Ross. In 1982, Diana Ross performed at Resorts Hotel & Casino in Atalntic City, N.J. and during her show, Diana Ross sang "Reach Out And Touch" and while singing, she came in the audience and went to different people and let them sing a verse. I was one of the lucky ones and the last one in the audience that she let hold the microphone and sing " Reach Out And Touch Somebody's Hand Make This A better World If You Can". After I sang, Diana Ross said to me " do you know the words to "Endless Love"? I said "yes". She asked "would y'all like to hear Endless Love". The audience went crazy.She took my hand and we walked to the stage and a stage hand person handed me a microphone and Diana Ross said she wanted to hear me sing the words my love to the band could play to the key of my voice. We sang the whole song and after singing, the audience stood up as I walked off of the stage and back to my seat. When I looked at this video of Diana Ross singing "Endless Love", it reminded me because this version of "Endless Love" was the same tempo that they played when we sang. Brought back memories.

This clip cut off the last part of Diana's performance of this song. During that time, she explained how performing the concert in Central Park was a dream come true for her. and how grateful she was for the love the fans showed her over the two concert days. So I think at the time she's singing this song, she's filled with emotion at reaching the pinnacle of her career.
