My dad (Phil Turner) made many of the props for the commercial. I don’t know if the documentary is released yet, but he should be part of it explaining the props he made and the thought process that went into making them. They include the living room set and the lampshade as a stick shift for the commercial chasing after the bottles, he also made the cans for the smash up derby contest, as well as the R’s for the R-Heads while at a company in Ballard area called AMEX (an exhibit and display company). He also did the cans where they surface and dive and designed the pulley mechanism for it. As well as many more including the promotional events for Rainier Dry. I also helped build the Rainier Beer Iceberg and drove it around the log boom area at the 92 Rainer Cup, sadly I’ve never found a picture as of yet online.

He also has a collection of commercials I think still that were given to him by Mel Taylor.

I am wondering, is there any bill the beer man, and the peanut guy ads legendary at games, locally serving food in the stands? Do they still exist in the archives?
