Graco Charleston Crib Full Build and Assembly

- I've included the full assembly of this crib from start to finish. There is no conversion kit in this video.
I thought the instructions were missing so I built it without them until I found them at the very end. As usual, they were in the last place I checked. Still... it ended up being the same. I actually think my way made more sense! You be the judge.
Overall it took me about 75 minutes. I think it would have been faster if I wasn't capturing it to video. Oh yeah, and I guess the instructions would have helped. - Jak na to + styl
This video wasn’t particularly helpful for me. But, I was able to screen shot the part where he was flipping through the directions and that helped.
1. Start with putting the right and left pieces on the back. The medium size screws thread through the back and the nut things are what’s holding it in place. So you have to stick the nut in the holes so the screws screw into it. They will either be on the side or the bottom side of the rail. Make sure you have the back facing the right way with the three holes on the legs facing the front.
2. Then do the support piece. This is the long skinny piece that helps hold the side pieces in place. They use the nuts and the medium size screws.
3. Put in the metal piece that holds the mattress up. It has three levels for how high you want it. I did the highest setting for a newborn. Face it so the attached envelope faces up and turn the four metal pieces so they are facing up. This was the hardest part. Having someone to help hold this in place would help a lot. You need to use the smallest screws to attach this to all four legs at the desired height.
4. Put on the front the same way you put on the back, but use the longest screws with the nuts.

What were the screws called that you used to attach the metal spring part in the video? I lost all 4 of those.
I found out about the instructions at the same point he did while installing the spring box 😭😂😂

What is the height from floor to the highest setting for mattress?

i was looking for the exact same answer! but i found out the bolts either go on the sides or the top or bottom of the corner edge pieces. Hope this helps!
Thanks so much for your help. Bought the crib used and most of the hardware is missing. Trusted the seller, my mistake. Any idea where I may find the bolts and barrel nuts? Thanks.
Sorry for the delay. I'm not sure where you would get the exact replacements. I think the next best thing would be to take the hardware you do have, go to home depot and look for something comparable. It won't be exact but you might get something to work.

Do you have the instructions or the hardware list for this crib still? I am currently trying to reuse my son's crib now for my daughter and I cannot find the exact instructions or hardware list ANYWHERE.

Extremelyyyyyyy helpful to me…… the screws was different sizes n so my eyes were blind to that, cause it was a gift n put in a zip lock n so I had to make readjustments 😖🫣😂 thank u.

This video wasn’t very good this guy didn’t show how to install the screw which way n which side. It’s very disappointing. This guy was going just here n there without complete information. Not clear. Worst video. Not at all helpful.
