Thank you for recognising that it’s a cultural thing with the atmosphere. Not just the lame excuse that America aren’t as energetic because they always gets shows. Same with the whole Philly night one of mania being cold as an excuse clearly don’t watch 3/4 of a European football season where it’s under 12 degrees Celsius most games but the atmospheres are always loud with people bouncing up and down.
Great review Santi. I really liked Backlash. My favorite match was Kabuki Warriors and I don't care what anyone says. I thought Jade and Kairi were amazing. I know there seemed to be a mistake, but the fans chanted this is awesome during the mistake because the whole thing was so good. I hope Jade is happy with the match because she seemed a bit sad at the end. I thought it was great, and I hope WWE is very nice to Kabuki Warriors from now on because they've put everyone over and now they need some love.
I'm really pleased to see and hear that you enjoyed the show and the atmosphere. It must be said that this show was very important to us. We wanted to offer the wrestlers, the staff, the American public and the world at large a unique experience. But we also wanted to send a message to the media in our own country, who look down on wrestling. Fortunately, since Backlash, some of them are beginning to change their minds, and even some TV channels and newspapers have a form of pride. The fact that the public has made such an impression on the WWE. And if we have a new PLE in a stadium, the doors will be wide open. To make the most beautiful atmosphere in the history of wrestling. ;) I've had two nights of dreams I didn't want to wake up from, that's why I love wrestling so much.
The crowd literally did the same chant after every single 2-count to the point where it got pretty annoying for me. And they also sang the same song every time AJ did a semi-significant move in the main event. There were big momentum swings going down and they were still singing about what happened 30 seconds prior. It was taking me out of it. Guess I'm the only one.
Your not the only one. At the beginning it was awesome but at a certain point it changed the whole event for me. I felt the wrestlers were slowing the matches down and pandering to the crowd to much. Alot of wrestlers just stopping and looking out to the crowd to much every single match for no reason. Toward the middle it just felt like the crowd was there to prove something instead of being in the moment, I honestly would of hated to be in that crowd lol. It almost felt like a house show where there are just matches with no story telling involved.
it's not even professional wrestling, stop saying that. And no, screaming is not good. Why is everyone saying professional when nothing is in fact professional? Are you ok, santi fans

Unfortunately for you, it will probably be the same in Germany because of the language barrier 😅 (And probably in Italy when they have one) However you will know for the next 🇨🇵 PLE 👀 Afterwards without wanting to be unpleasant 🤗, the chant “simplement deux” was present at each kick out at 2. And the "vraiment phenomenal", it's an old song with the word phenomenal so ... AJ - Phenomenal
Only Problem I had with the crowd was the "simplement deux" chant after every fucking 2 count was getting abnoxious really quick. Like come on, do it a couple of times but they did it literally after every 2 count.
SMALL STORY ABOUT THE EXTRAS THIS WEEK-END The security guards during the tag brawl at Smackdown and Backlash are french wrestlers and referees. Saturday morning at 10am there was an indy show in Lyon and the crowd just popped for theses wrestlers and chanted "Security ! Security" when they arrived just in order to congratulate them for being extras on a wwe show. Even with 8h (indy + wwe) of wrestling shows during this week-end, you can have a huge pop in France because you appered during a few seconds on TV. This week-end was awesome for us french fans that never experienced TV and we can finally show the world why wrestlers are often talking about France as a special place Seeing that almost (sorry for the fans that like quiet crowds) everyone liked our chants even if it was in French it just makes us so much happy and motivates us to do even better next time !
Now if this was a stadium WM PLE it would be awesome to see how loud they can get even in an open stadium venue..the crowd reaction would eclipse every past WM venues including WM40

the OG Guerillas of Destiny are now in the Bloodline. It was a great surprise where they thought they would get Jacob Fatu but they got Tanga Loa which is an unexpected surprise.
French crowd should be inducted in hall of fame for being the best crowd in the history of the WWE
As a Frenchman, I'm very touched by your comment. In France we love American professional wrestling, for us superstars are like gods.
This was not only the best crowd, even better than Wrestlemania 17, it was the best B-PLE ever in my opinion. Even though everything was predictable, it was super well done. A+++
disagree, the crowd was bad, and you know that screaming and chanting makes a crowd worse. It's better to be silent and focus, and only cheer when necessary, not just chant and scream like all the time for no reason. And the ple was average at best with only 2 good matches. B-
Bro Randy Orton teasing the splash from the barricade and then coming down laughing was the highlight of the evening. He’s rly the GOAT
Backlash 2 years in a row had amazing crowds
Thank you for recognising that it’s a cultural thing with the atmosphere. Not just the lame excuse that America aren’t as energetic because they always gets shows. Same with the whole Philly night one of mania being cold as an excuse clearly don’t watch 3/4 of a European football season where it’s under 12 degrees Celsius most games but the atmospheres are always loud with people bouncing up and down.
The temperature excuse was lame as hell. If you're cold, move, sing, shout. Keeps you warm you whimps
I was genuinely thinking about you when I was listening to the crowd throughout the event. I also popped big when I saw the sign of your face!!
To make the most beautiful atmosphere in the history of wrestling. ;)
I've had two nights of dreams I didn't want to wake up from, that's why I love wrestling so much.
I agree this was a great great PLE from beginning to end , also I’m Puertorican and a cannot deny that this crowd was out of this world
both crowds where bad because of that. Stop screaming like idiots for no reason, brainless sheep
Santa is caring the WWE CZcams scene keep up the good work ❤
France is one of the greatest crowds in professional wrestling
it's not even professional wrestling, stop saying that. And no, screaming is not good. Why is everyone saying professional when nothing is in fact professional? Are you ok, santi fans
The crowd made this PLE a 10-10, actual show was a solid 8-10!
10/10 is a stretch. The only two really good matches were the first and last one. The rest of the ppv was kinda dull. The crowd was great tho
You cant put wm 40 on the same level as this one bro
@@cerebralassassin2185 crowd singing was annoying and irritating in every matches
the crowd made it worse, we came to see a match, not french idiots screaming without even thinking
@@thegameking3931 Man, you're one of the few to be convinced of your words while the majority of the WWE universe proclaims the opposite, question yourselves guys without kidding... It was the first PLE for us, it was Tama Tonga's first match in WWE, it was the first time that AJ Styles came to wrestle in France (to my knowledge), it was the first match between Cody and AJ Styles and it was Cody's first title defense! OBVIOUSLY WE SET THE ATMOSPHERE DUDE!
I hope for your sake that you didn't know ECW at One Night Stand...
Crowd was great but for those of us that dont speak french we didnt know what they were exactly saying during these chants. Wouldve been fun to know so it made sense when and why they were doing them.
Unfortunately for you, it will probably be the same in Germany because of the language barrier 😅 (And probably in Italy when they have one)
However you will know for the next 🇨🇵 PLE 👀
Afterwards without wanting to be unpleasant 🤗, the chant “simplement deux” was present at each kick out at 2.
And the "vraiment phenomenal", it's an old song with the word phenomenal so ... AJ - Phenomenal
That crowd was flipping awesome singing everyone’s song. Great crowd
The crowd blew the arena roof off. I've never seen the fans in such a sync.
Only Problem I had with the crowd was the "simplement deux" chant after every fucking 2 count was getting abnoxious really quick. Like come on, do it a couple of times but they did it literally after every 2 count.
yeah it was annoying but the rest of the chants were cool asf
@@777mvtt absolutely, beside that, electric crowd for the whole show.
SMALL STORY ABOUT THE EXTRAS THIS WEEK-END
The security guards during the tag brawl at Smackdown and Backlash are french wrestlers and referees.
This week-end was awesome for us french fans that never experienced TV and we can finally show the world why wrestlers are often talking about France as a special place
Seeing that almost (sorry for the fans that like quiet crowds) everyone liked our chants even if it was in French it just makes us so much happy and motivates us to do even better next time !
CumZap, this video was so awesome and made me have a fun time!
I and thousands would love em in Portugal.
Pls WWE Im begging 🙏
We have to make noise in social media to get that, it can be house show in the euro tour we dont mind 😅😅
@@ricardoreis5353 um PLE provavelmente é sonhar alto demais.
Now if this was a stadium WM PLE it would be awesome to see how loud they can get even in an open stadium venue..the crowd reaction would eclipse every past WM venues including WM40
Shoutout to the santizap sign guy
Yeah I saw that I was gonna say the same things 😂😂
The day WWE comes to Brazil, you will see what a real crowd is
That Will be fun
The Nogueira Brothers tried to feed a carrot to a bus

That crowd was insane, the European crowd could be the thing to take this new era to a whole new level. I’m going to clash of the castle and I can bet my life, that myself and my fellow Scottish lunatics will keep this passion up, possibly to a new level. So much respect for the 🇫🇷 crowd. Amazing

WM 42 OR SUMMER SLAM 2025 SHOULD BE IN FRANCE
The two count chant was great but honestly it may have gone on a little too long for me personally 😂 but that crowd was honestly unreal I LOVED the energy for the main event
They need to do Royal Rumble in France and MITB in Puerto Rico.
this crowd is the reason why US needs more football/soccer clubs..
The og bloodline (with sami zayn) vs Solo sikova's bloodline (with jacob fatu) at survivor series war games will feed families for generations
Roman bloodline vs rock bloodline in 5vs5 need to happen.
Went to Lyon a couple years back was one of the loveliest places I’ve been glad to see them get recognition from this event don’t know how us in the uk will top that 😅
THEY DESERVE WRESTLMANIA
absolutely! right off the bat you hear the massive roar of the crowd- insane!
I love the santi sign, I like to think I started it bc I had the Notice Me Santi sign on SMACKDOWN. Probably didn’t, but I love seeing it 😂
Wwe should go back to France more often in the future
I'm french and I was there !!! It was too phenomenal thank you for your gratitude we love you from France ❤
What a crowd! That was electric!
Sup with the end of the video? Lol jokes aside, i have enjoyed your videos man. Keep up the great work
Crowd wanted to be the stars more than the stars
imma do my own rating
Randy orton and Kevin vs Solo sokoa and Tama - 4.7 star match
Bayley vs Niomi vs Tiff - 3.9 star match
Jey vs Damian - 3.7 star match
Bianca belair & Jade vs Kabuki warriors ( probably spelt that wrong) - 3.7 star match
Cody vs AJ styles - 5 star match
Crowd - 10/10
Overall rating - 9.1 out of 10
Also that Top rope brainbuster through 4 steel chairs was absolutely insane
Someone just had your photo and I love santi zap text during Cody's entrance after "ooah" part
I can’t stop watching clips of Backlash because of how happy & excited the crowd makes me feel. Hands down the best wrestling crowd I’ve ever heard or seen🔥🔥
imagine metalingus or cult of personality with that french crowd OH MY GOD 😭😭😭😭
We would have loved or Stone Cold I hope the wwe in the future will come more often in France for us wwe superstars sound like gods in France.
Like this Santizap got me back on wrestling he’s actually seems a genuine guy
The crowd was fantastic also I agree with you on they should do more Europe PLE
Thanks for your compliment about the crowd of my country !
I can’t say if we’ve been better than Puerto Rico, I’ll not be objective, I was there !
But, we’ve made as noise as them, with more than 5000 people less and without the local mega star in the ring ! 🐰
Congratulations to us ! 💙🤍❤️🥰
Your show is f****** awesome. I'm outside on the porch drinking a beer smoking a blunt just finished watching back last WWE WrestleMania
This was a great show. It should Have never been this good. I love it I'm ready for summer slam
Hello, im French and im verry happy to know that people appreciate us. Big thanks
That cartwheel Alabama Slam that Tiffy is doing is really so cool.
Imagine WM 40 with the French Crowd, the stadium would not survive at the Undertaker entrance
wwe should have a international brand or show yearly besides saudi where they go on tour in europe for a month or two.
This crowd was insane. I actually can’t believe it.
Loved this PLE. The crowd made it so much better. Every match felt special. Each match told a great story.
The crowd throughout the show elevated the show to new levels.
I can't call this the greatest crowd cuz they went out of their way at times where it took away from the show. Def were the loudest and most active but weren't quite with the show at all times.
Thank you! Finally, I found someone who said it. I couldn't even tell that they were watching wrestling most of the time!
wdym? All their chants were relevant to the matches and what was happening.
@@Boz196 the phenomenal chant was purely for the word. So no. And it was incessant
@@Boz196 Maybe. But I don't speak French!?! So, most of the time, it seemed like 11,000 people just got together to sing and chant. It was pretty distracting at times. I understand that it's a different culture, but they kept it up for the entire show.
I was there too in the crowd and yes, we went hard all night long 😀
On peut être fier de l'ambiance qu'on a mis quand on voit l'écho qui résonne à ce point à l'international ^^
Awesome ple the match was lit the crowd was hype it was just awesome
Totally agreed. 5 matches right under 3 hours. Every match felt quality. All the stars smashed it and the crowd enhanced it as well. I wish every PLE is international
Very proud to have witnessed this phenomenal show live and to have been a part of this amazing crowd ! We europeans are waiting for more shows in Europe, we'll be ready !!
As a french, I'm proud of my country
