Something about tiny boards that just make me 🤤
haha! Me too!!
I had a transplant in July and bought the stomp for exactly the same reason! Thank you for the video and home you keep well!
Paul ZodiacXL42 dude that’s awesome. Hope you are doing well also!
I’m totally inspired. Thank you so much for sharing. Glad to hear you’re healing well.
Would love a tutorial on how you program HX Stomp to work in conjunction with external pedals via MIDI. 🙏🏻 I’m trying to get over my MIDI intimidation.
I will actually be posting a walk through of the Jet Micro soon. Trying to record and upload by Christmas!
Hey Worship Leader Awesome! I look forward to it. Thank you. 🙏🏻
Very cool! I just can't help think that if I buy a Stomp, I would it to be a super-compact, all-in-one solution. If I wanted more than than, I would probably just use my Helix. I do love that the Stomp works well has a centerpiece for mini-boards like this. Such a well thought out product!
Yeah, that's a good point. If you have a Helix, the Stomp could just be more of a backup, or just something you could throw in your backpack. But the Helix is def the boss!
Brother,I am excited to hear you are doing well.Prayers sent for a healthy life and lifestyle.
Coll build btw.
Thank you so much!! 🙏
Love this! I’m planning on doing a stomp board with all black pedals, funny how yours worked out that way!
John Nozzi that’s awesome man. Great minds think alike! I’d love to see it when you get it finished!
Apologies for the clipping at the end. It wasn’t doing that before I uploaded and now I’m headed out of town. You can still get a good idea of how it sounds. I hope you enjoy!
Came across this while surfing. Loved the build. I personally wouldn't use solder less but other than that this build looks great.
GuitarGodgt thanks man!
Nice set up! Glad to see you back Jimmy! 👊
Leading Worship Well thanks man! It’s good to be moving around again!
I loved the production quality of your videos. Subscribed
Thank you for the encouragement!!
crazy tone guy
Graham Wilson thanks my guy
Great video!
Kyle Chatley thanks man!!
Man i Loved your vid. Keep with the great content
tuco alvares thanks man!!
Praying for u bro thanks for the video awesome 👏
Thank you so much for your prayers. Means a lot. Thanks for the encouragement as well!
Wow those marine zip tie mounts are a must!!! Just got my stop and I was wondering how I would go about all that cable management underneath!
CLEAN 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks man!!
Could you make a video going over the way you use your HX stomp with your worship sets? Could you also include the presets and sounds you've created thus far? I'm thinking about investing in one but I want to make sure it is what I need for worship sets at my home church.
That’s not a bad idea. A video is going out today that may not be exactly what you’re looking for but has sound samples of my presets in the second half. It’ll be posted here in a few hours!
Thanks for the videos. So if I run my Dunlop Mini Volume pedal at the front of my chain, I won't have to use a block on the HX Stomp and I can still do swells?
Correct! That’s what I do! Normally I prefer to run my volume pedal after my overdrives, but saving a block is def a higher priority
Hey bro, great video 👍🏻
Just wanted to ask for the hx stomp, which input did u put into from the compressor. Left or right. And how does the stereo work from the stomp to the reverb ?
Thanks!
Good question! I have the compressor going right into the front of the Stomp (L/MONO Input). As far as my reverb pedal, I run it through the FX loop and make sure it is set to stereo. I also make sure the FX loop has trails turned on, so that when I deactivate the reverbs, there is no hard cut. I hope this helps!
So honest question: Rather than an HX Stomp with Midi switch, why not just by the Hx Stomp XL? What am I missing?
Not missing anything...the Stomp XL did not exist when this video was made...I also have the XL now...and it's great...especailly if you're not needing midi on other pedals. czcams.com/video/cDKITa6ZdsY/video.html
Hi, thanks for the video. If I'd like to connect rev and freeze (external pedals) through the Stomp send/return, what would be the in&out sequence?
Anything like a Freeze or Looper needs to go last...so it can capture what you want fed into it. Hope that makes sense
@@HeyWorshipLeader thanks, my question wasn't complete. Did you make any more videos where you explaing how to connect (all the cabling) more external pedals throught the Helix send/return?
Did you have to remove the rubber feet under the HX in order to install the velcro ? pictures if possible . BTW superb kit
steve HAMILTON I feel like the feet were not on it when I got it. I bought the display from my local Guitar Center and got a $100 off! I’ll take a look and get back with you!
The feet are included with the stomp in its own package. You can stick them on if you want to or choose not to use them.
endofanera1983 Hmmm, mine didn’t have those. I bought mine new from Sweetwater in September.
do you hooked up the pedals with cables daisy chain into the power supply or not
No not a daisy chain. The DC7 has 7 inputs and I'm only using 4 of them.
Pedals are cool and all, but how do you get your beard to look so good?
Chris Garnett it’s a beard preset!
@@HeyWorshipLeader I got get me one of those
Chris Garnett I don’t know dude, looks like you got a pretty good one.
Jet Micro vs Mission Engineering TT-2? thoughts?
I haven't used anything else. That would be a good video to compare the two. I only have used the Jet Micro.
I just now looked it up and noticed that the TT-2 is just an external foot switch, not a midi controller. I did use a 2 switch foot switch like that and it was good, but did not open up all the Stomp settings like a midi controller can. It really comes down to what you want to do and how much money you need to spend to do that.
@@HeyWorshipLeader , cool...thanks for reply
What was the power cord for the hx stomp
www.logsdonaudio.com/cables/for-cioks-dc7-power-supply-and-line6-pedals-current-doubler-cable
Thanks for asking, because I realized I never linked it! It's on there now tho! Good catch.
