I agree. I am super inspired by Karin. I got laid off and now I own my own ESL teaching business. I am still starting out, but I am working towards it. That letter represents a lot of people that were once oppressed in the corporate work.
I've worked for CZcams and I can tell you you're better off with more views than the amount of subs you have. So many people have like x amount of subs but like 5% of those actually watch the channel. Subs don't really count now unless you want that channel button CZcams sends but money wise and expanding audience views are better than subs. Always.

@@cocoshawnelle2451 Keep building, enjoy the work and the process (Try not to worry about the metrics as much), and you'll be in a really good headspace, and I think this helps us get amazing results (Because when you feel good you do good, gratitude is contagious) - I'll sub to your channel btw. But yeah fall in love with the work, and let everything else takecare of itself. Creating valuable, enjoyable content and typically this will lead to great results. Enjoy the process though. Just my 2 cents and hope this finds you well! :)

Don't worry about what you views you don't have (As this can demotivate), instead be grateful for the amazing folks that watch your content, and in due time, i believe that you'll see your channel growing. Just subbed and checked out your content, and I think you're doing a great job. Great thumbnails as well ;). Yeah it takes time, and being consistent is key. I'm not a youtuber, but I study it and follow it, as I'm a digital marketer / consultant. best of success!

Love the letter that you shared AND love that she was inspired to take action to change her circumstance as opposed to giving up and giving in. That's what inspiration does, it encourages you to know that all things are possible.

So excited to see the finished office! I agree with the lady who wrote the letter. You are such an inspiration. I feel like I was meant to hear this letter. I am a legal secretary, 50 years old, and my daughter spent 5 days in the hospital recovering from surgery. I took 3 weeks off knowing that there was definitely a possibility that my job would be on the line. Thankfully, I didn't lose my job but it did make me realize that I need to focus on working for myself so I don't have to worry about taking time for family. I would love to work for myself organizing spaces. That's something I'm working towards.

Hey Karin, I have been loving your content. I am currently in the process of building and redecorating the new office of my own, and I would love to see more tips and tricks, and maybe even a Bohnafide episode regarding you new office. It will be really useful for people like myself who are not designers or architects, but have to lead the process of finding the place, talking to the architects, looking for details in how to make the space efficient, explaining the needs of the space to the designers. And also, doing all on a budget. :) Thank you in advance.

I am two months out from finishing my interior design course and your videos and content make me so excited to get out there and become a successful business woman and designer. I have one question for you (design related) when you are presenting material boards to clients how do you showcase them in a professional way? Do clients come to the studio and you lay out sample finishes or do you put them on a board for your clients to take home? I am a bit stumped here on what do to 💗 xx

Hi karin - just a quick observation. I think you undersell yourself in asking others to subscribe. I think you bring fun content yes, but i have never seen you say that you offer business advice, content on running a business, self growth and discipline, etc. Hope you dont feel like you are not in a position to say so. You are so much more than a designer who posts content, which is where i think you differentiate yourself. Plus i think those who haven't subscribed need to understand the exciting growth and journey your business and team is on. Love you!!
nope. wrong. i myself found out i haven't subs yet which for me is quite embarassing because i really love house of bohn channel and i will ofcourse will subs but i don't. maybe i subs from my TV with my other youtube account. so, i guess it's good that he remind us fan to subs because sometimes we don't notice.
I’d love to see a video on studio organization, studio management, and the documentation you use to keep track of project budgets...and how you implement Gantt charts. Those documents are always so important to proper project flow and Im always a little lost on those documents

Hi Karin, maybe try to use the laser range finder. It's far more convenient than the tapeline and it saves time. Love to watch your videos.
