Juwel HeliaLux Spectrum + Smart Control: Installation and unboxing

- Juwel's new generation of aquarium LED lighting Juwel HeliaLux is called Juwel HeliaLux Spectrum. It is an LED light that can be controlled with SmartControl, a new type of non-app control, that doesn’t require downloading software for your computer or smartphone. In this video, we unboxit and show how to connect all components needed to create a working system.
The video shows three different products: the aquarium lighting as well as a splitter cable and an LED controller. Neither splitter cable or LED controller is included when purchasing the lighting. Without the LED controller, you can not adjust the settings but simply turn the light on and off with the light switch located on the LED driver.
The entire system is very simple and intuitive to connect. The settings for the LED lighting are accessed by entering an IP address (an IP address is simply a number combination instead of a regular URL) in your browser. It's as easy as connecting to your usual Wi-Fi network at home and requires no major technical skills.
Once the aquarium lighting is installed, it is possible to program day by day and hour by hour. It is therefore possible to simulate the sunrise, sunset or moonlight. You can adjust both the brightness and the color of the light.
Installation in the aquarium is no more difficult than placing the lighting in place. It is adapted to fit directly into your Juwel aquarium. In the aquarium there is a recess for wiring, so the result will be a stylish installation.
Note that HeliaLux Spectrum is a brand new product that is incompatible with previous generations of HeliaLux.
