that's not actually laser engraving, thats all hand work done by wilfred valtakis aka @chippedmetal
the anodizing is done via a technique called spot anodizing, using a small electrified brush and conductive liquid.
all in all about 100hrs of work
also for steel all the customs are 3v!
I feel the same sentiments with blade steel, heck alot of knife makers still use d2 for their customs, tell that to a bladesteel nerd and they'd flip their top 😂😂

Truly a thing of beauty. Not a big fan of the skull, but don’t mind it either.
I feel the same way. The skull is not my personal look, but I could see how many would want to keep it. I have a few Chavez and I like to not carry them and keep the skull, lol. I might try rocking the skull, and like the look for Ramon’s style, but it just doesn’t fit my look coming out of my pocket. I really should try to carry them and change the clip but I hate the action on the Reate made Chavez models. Late detent makes the closing action kind of wonky imho. I love the look of the Chavez street redencion, but I don’t like the action at all. Sorry to rant. And hey buddy- almost Friday!!!!

@@DirkWerning Not to debate whether or not the supposed assets of individual steels can actually be observed in use (though I definitely know certain ones can), but I'm just saying my personal appreciation of a knife and its steel doesn't depend on whether or not I'll be inclined to proclaim to others about it.
