I have the same Model Diesel variant, colour honda city 2014 model, and same 1 lakh up kms chali hai, but still kal ek relative aye the ghar he said abhi bhi showroom car lagti hai. V much Happy with this car. Engine Noise mujhe toh normal lagta hai even many people said the same, you get use to it.
Haan thoda time lagta hai, fir engine sound normal ho jaata hai,baaki Speakers bhi to hain bajane ko 🤣

I have Honda city diesel V varient 2015 model. Almost completed 165000 kms. Maximum average I got is 29 kmpl in a 190 kms long drive.
Maintenance is never been an issue. Just normal servicing on time gets the purpose. Engine noise is little more than other competitors but damping sheets in all doors fixed this issue. Road noise was also an issue but that too was solved with damping sheets.
So overall very happy with my car.
Can I take 2014 diesel city 75k kms run will i face any issue , I need to use atleast for 5 to 6yrs ..

Im using 2009 model Honda City Petrol Engine.
Pros: Engine refinement, space, driving dynamics.
Cons: Mileage, getting average of 10kmpl in City and 16kmpl on Highways.

I find this car extremely practical in todays scenario. Great handling, space and superb fuel economy(27kmpl I got). Love the diesel variant!!
How much in city n in highway. And is thw fuel efficiency on road or given by the car?
@@rohans3447 in city I am getting 18-21kmpl . In highways i got 27-29kmpl easily. But speed was at 60-70kmph and rpm around 1500. Odometer showed 30-31kmpl, while on road calculation was found to be 28-29kmpl. Check my channel for the video.

@@kavyadadhichvlogs honda city is low maintenance car. Your service cost would come around 4-5k just like Maruti Cars . But one thing i felt, the mechanics in service centre are not street smart like the ones in Maruti. In Maruti, there are jugaads to solve minor problems but in Honda they lack knowledge to find out the problem your is facing. Secondly, the quality of parts is slowly degrading,e.g I replaced front suspension, steering rack, clutch disc at interval of 70k kms, whereas my previous maruti cars went butter smooth till 100k kms. So these points please keep in mind. I sold my city last year and got XL6 but still my heart is with Honda ❤️

I have 4th gen Honda City Diesel 2019 model VX , I must say this engine is very good in fuel efficiency . I like to drive on low RPMs and not that much adrenaline junkie . On long drives This car has given me 27 kmpl mileage that is absolutely amazing. Rest it gives around between 21 to 23 kmpl , if you have a sense of smooth driving.

..recently bought 2nd hand 2015 city v diesel
..pros are: space, comfort, cruise control and mileage (and many other)
..cons are: too much noise after certain RPM, and quality issue as you described
and yes.. it brings smile on your face when you see fuel indicator after a long trip..

And always prefer service record and paid checkup from honda only

Sir aftermarket tyre size bata deejay please. Mine is a, stock one that is 175/65 R 15. I planned to up size the tyre. But Honda people not encouraging. They said it can damage the steering column. Also telling comfort bhi jayega.

Car warranty me hai to thoda der baad lagwa lijiye. Honda wale warranty khatam karne ke bahane dhoondte hain.
Horn ke liye Hella ya Roots le sakte hain. BMW/Audi horns ko trumpet kehte hain. Local shop pe Po Po horn keh dijiyega. 😅

Go for 12-15 version. Petrol vs Diesel depends on usage. Both are easy to maintain. Less cabin noise in Petrol.
Micra should fit your needs. Petrol 3 cylinder has some engine noise (I like it), mileage is upto 20 easily and has too much space for its size. Diesel is also good, but slightly expensive on cost and maintainence.
Beat is a very small car. Check Micra Review on channel.

I also purchased 2014 model second hand and it is showing a little back compression , engine oil level is same wanted to know that is it normal or have to do something .
Not a big problem. Just ride with care, dont over-rev. The car will last for a long time.

I have a question that in honda city what are the pros and cons of petrol engine as you described diesel engine only in this video. Its not super powerful like some reviews make it sound like, but its fun. It revs happily. The sound it makes is good. Small mufler update will make sound even better if your family allows.

overall quality of car
and with 5 people, the car feels slightly underpowered on low speeds. Once the car picks up pace and is above 1700-2000 rpm, its easy to drive.

I own 2015 VXD car (1,20,000 km). At 80 KMPH, if i maintain rpm at about 1500 rpm in 6th gear - I am getting a minimum of 27 kmpl on highways and 1-2 kmpl more if run on cruise mode. I got more than 30 kmpl for a 900km round trip.

Maneuverability is best in segment.
