    #Investigating the #Causes 🔥🔥🔥🔥#shorts
    #Fires in #buses powered by #compressed natural gas (CNG) and #electric buses pose significant #risks. In the case of #CNG buses, the #compressed #gas can be highly flammable, increasing the likelihood of a fire in the event of a leak or mishandling. On the other hand, electric buses have battery systems that, though advanced, can lead to fires due to short circuits, overheating, or system failures.
    To raise awareness about these concealed dangers, it is essential to emphasize the importance of prevention and proper training for drivers and maintenance personnel. Measures such as regular inspections, emergency response training, and clear protocols for the safe management of these technologies should be highlighted.
    In the event of encountering such a circumstance, personal and passenger safety is the priority. Evacuating the bus in an orderly manner and moving away from the affected area is crucial. Immediately calling emergency services and following any specific procedures provided by the bus manufacturer or local authorities is important. Awareness and preparedness are key to mitigating risks and protecting lives in such situations.

    Electric bus battery catches fire 🔥or hybrid CNG vehicle ? The passengers safety it's the most important issue , how would you handle situation like this?
    In the recent past, multiple #EVfire incidents have caught the country's attention, repeatedly pointing to the poor quality of imported Lithium-ion (Li-ion) cells as the most probable cause.
    a circuit cut in the battery blocks of a hybrid bus caused the gas valves to burst and ended up burning the vehicle, fortunately there were no victims only that the fire spread rapidly in the surroundings of the area of the fire that later the prugia fire services managed to control

    As soon as I saw the design of the bus, I knew it was an old Iveco bus, and I soon found out that it was a 1997-1999 Iveco CityClass.
    They have never produced a battery EV bus, so these flaming buses were likely fueled by compressed natural gas.
    In my country, almost all city buses are fueled by natural gas. There have been rare explosions due to damaged gas tanks
    (passengers were seriously injured and the interior of the bus was severely destroyed, but luckily no one died), but there have never been fires this fierce.
    If not ignited, natural gas will quickly leak out and evaporate. Now the only things I can trust are diesel buses and trolleybuses!

    • @meteoritspreciusstones508
      @meteoritspreciusstones508  Před 9 měsíci +2

      It is true that a short circuit of electrical origin was what caused this fire, the driver did his best to move the vehicle away from the urban center, these types of scenarios are authentic bombs detonated in our cities, what I do see is a great danger that surrounds,
      If the message arrives and we are able to imagine what limits this impact can have on our surroundings and in what circumstances it can harm people, we could know the time we have to interact to get out with the least possible damage.
      I insist on respecting the intelligence of each individual but from my point of view, both natural gas and lithium batteries are two different faces of a single danger.

    • @Snufkin812
      @Snufkin812 Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@meteoritspreciusstones508 The worst scenario I can imagine is that a fire breaks out in a tunnel or traffic jam during rush hour, and the fire spreads to trucks carrying oil, gas, or chemicals around the bus, causing a huge explosion.
      Also, if a fire breaks out inside a terminal building (if there is a shopping center or department store above the bus terminal) or a bus depot at night, it will cause significant damage.
      Of course, even gasoline and LPG cars are not absolutely safe and have potential risks.
      However, because they have been studied for a long time and proven to be safe, accidents are rare in real life.
      The scenario is different for buses transporting many passengers. Buses have many complex devices, including air conditioners, so electrical problems can easily occur.
      For natural gas buses in my country, the gas tank must be inspected at regular intervals. All transport companies need to be concerned about the safe condition of their buses.

From a firefighting viewpoint this is a truly daunting prospect but worse still, imagine the carnage if this had happened on a full bus in the middle of a busy town where most of these vehicles probably operate.. and what if it was a school bus, God forbid ? - I have seen footage of EVs burning but they seem slightly different, more chemical in nature (though no less ferocious..) That’s sooo cool! Glad to see this.
    A 2012 comprehensive life-cycle analysis in Journal of Industrial Ecology shows that almost half the lifetime carbon-dioxide emissions from an electric car come from the energy used to produce the car, especially the battery. The mining of lithium, for instance, is a less than green activity. By contrast, the manufacture of a gas-powered car accounts for 17% of its lifetime carbon-dioxide emissions. When an electric car rolls off the production line, it has already been responsible for 30,000 pounds of carbon-dioxide emission. The amount for making a conventional car: 14,000 pounds.
    While electric-car owners may cruise around feeling virtuous, they still recharge using electricity overwhelmingly produced with fossil fuels. Thus, the life-cycle analysis shows that for every mile driven, the average electric car indirectly emits about six ounces of carbon-dioxide. This is still a lot better than a similar-size conventional car, which emits about 12 ounces per mile. But remember, the production of the electric car has already resulted in sizeable emissions-the equivalent of 80,000 miles of travel in the vehicle.

      #EVTruth they're a bullshit agenda entirely. The tech is simply not ready quite yet and they're very carbon intensive

    Yeah, we definitely want these carding our children back-and-forth to school right?

    EV's are safe and efficient and can run on clean energy generated by solar and wind power.
    What more do we need to know?

      thank you friend for your support I appreciate your intervention through your comment It is very well said that electric vehicles are very efficient and ecological with very good efficacy to reduce the carbon footprint or, what is the same, reduce CO2 emissions. In addition, in recent years we are seeing a new type of vehicles that are invading cities and at the same time restricting access to diesel vehicles in the center of cities for the reason that they pollute more. Up to this point I agree with you, except in the term security that changes until it happens in fact !! When a fire occurs and sets off all the alarms, it demonstrates the danger that surrounds these vehicles and it is shown that they are nothing more than a mass of dangerous substances that can cause great emotions and some damage that can be regretted. I am optimistic after seeing different comments there are many illustrious minds who are aware of the hidden dangers in all the artifacts that surround us and there are some who are able to take into account the different scenarios that can happen and leave a margin for the imagination to be able to deal with it because those wonderful minds have a mental scheme that makes them excellent in any unsuspecting situation

      @@meteoritspreciusstones508 Sorry, I was being sarcastic.
      The electricity for most EV's is NOT generated by any means other than burning coal or gas.
      The energy loss in doing so is more harmful to the environment than just burning petrol or diesel in a motor vehicle.

      I really appreciate the realistic logic with which you think and I really appreciate your intervention meanwhile with all the technological progress that humanity and the 5th industrial revolution are achieving and the implementation of artificial intelligence and the internet of objects I have a feeling that this world is going to evolve at breakneck speed and at the same time there are going to be very many people who are going to choose to live an analogous simple life what this is going to do is divide the world into two parallel worlds, those that take care of and coexist with nature and others that exploit resources and destroy plants and genes you know very well what I mean, for this I wish glory to those who plant and cultivate and live simply

      This bus is natural gas powered. Look at videos of CNG, LPG tanks or vehicles burning, then look at EV’s/battery packs burning in other videos. They both make a helluva mess but they look a bit different.
